Chapter 686

Donald, embarrassed about his son's broken wrist, told Cameron Isaac, "He's indisposed and won't be here for a while. I'll bring him to visit when he arrives."

Cameron Isaac nodded. "Otherwise, I'll arrange for someone to take you to your room to rest. We'll have dinner together this evening when your son returns; I'll send a car."

Donald, overjoyed, replied, "Thank you, Mr. Cameron." He felt their relationship had significantly improved after Cameron accepted his gift. This was exactly what Donald desired. As Eastcliff's Wade family spokesperson in Aurous Hill, Cameron was a crucial connection. Maintaining a good relationship would allow Donald to leverage the Wade family's influence.

Donald had a plan: if the Webb family couldn't find a cure for Kian, they could enlist the Wade family's help. The Wade family's resources were vast. Cameron, however, didn't overthink it; after all, the Webb family was prominent in Southern Yangtze. After exchanging pleasantries, Donald was escorted to the presidential suite.

Once settled, Donald called Sean, who had just had his arm plastered, to join him. Sean, accompanied by Mr. Lloyd, arrived at the Shangri-La, his face clouded with anger and depression. Mr. Lloyd cautioned, "Sean, the doctor said to avoid anger; it could impede healing."

Sean furiously retorted, "I won't let Charlie Wade get away with this. I'll break both his hands!" Mr. Lloyd was thrilled; Sean's injury would inevitably provoke the Webb family against Charlie. He expressed concern, "Sean, focus on your health; revenge can wait."

Sean sneered, "That Charlie Wade won't live long." They went to Donald's presidential suite. Sean announced, "Dad, I'm here."

Donald inquired, "How's your hand? What did the doctor say?"

Sean replied, "It's broken. The doctor put on a cast; it'll take months to heal."

Donald advised, "Be careful to avoid complications."

Sean demanded, "Dad, forget my hand! How do we deal with Charlie Wade?!"

Donald smirked, "If you want Charlie Wade dead, kill Don Albertt tonight!"

Chapter 687

Mr. Lloyd was ecstatic at the prospect of Don Albertt's death. This would not only avenge him but also elevate the Webb family. He dreamt of becoming Aurous Hill's new underworld emperor.

Sean questioned, "Dad, Don Albertt has many followers in Aurous Hill. Is this easy?"

Donald calmly explained, "You don't need to kill all his men to kill him. We just need to know his location at a specific time and strike then."

Mr. Lloyd revealed, "Don Albertt's movements are unpredictable during the day, but he usually stays at Heaven Springs at night."

Donald asked, "How many security guards does Heaven Springs have?"

Mr. Lloyd estimated, "About ten, plus waiters."

Donald scoffed, "Ten guards are nothing. My bodyguards are former soldiers. Jones Zizhou," he addressed his lead bodyguard, "you're the strongest and most efficient. Kill Don Albertt tonight. Kill anyone who gets in your way. Can you do it?"

Jones Zizhou pledged, "Master Webb, don't worry. A dozen guards are ants. Don Albertt will be dealt with like a dog."

Donald then turned to Mr. Lloyd, "Mr. Lloyd, this is your chance for revenge. Take my men to Heaven Springs tonight, eliminate Don Albertt! The Webb family will support you as the new underworld emperor!"

Chapter 688

At Lord Moore's birthday banquet, Charlie Wade, after toasting Lord Moore, planned to visit Dr. Simmons' Serene Medical Clinic. Everyone treated him with increased respect after witnessing the Rejuvenation Pill's effects, although no one mentioned it directly. Charlie still had twenty pills but wasn't ready to give them away.

He asked Liam about Weaver's Pharmaceuticals. Liam reported normal progress, focusing on rediscovering ancient Chinese medicine formulas. Charlie agreed, stating that many valuable formulas had been lost or stolen by other countries. This led him to think about Kobayashi Pharmaceutical in Japan, which he'd severely damaged financially. Ichiro Kobayashi, believing his brother dead, was still working for Don Albertt.

Liam updated Charlie on Kobayashi Pharmaceutical's recent financial difficulties but noted its resilience. Charlie planned to reclaim Ichiro once the company stabilized. He asked Liam to monitor Kobayashi Pharmaceutical closely. He also inquired about Liam's father and brother's situation in Golim Mountain, learning they were facing harsh winter conditions but were unlikely to die.

Chapter 689

Lord Moore and his family toasted Charlie, referring to him as "Master Wade." Charlie, after wishing Lord Moore well, announced his departure to Serene Medical Clinic. Lord Moore expressed his desire to visit but couldn't leave his guests. Charlie assured him that Xyla and Dr. Simmons were unharmed. Lord Moore suggested Jasmine accompany Charlie.

Before leaving, Charlie warned Don Albertt, "I hear you're dining at Heaven Springs tonight. Please look out for trouble there." Don Albertt readily agreed to help. Charlie felt a sense of responsibility toward his father-in-law, Jacob Wilson, wanting to protect him.

Jasmine drove Charlie to the clinic. She thanked him profusely, not just for the Rejuvenation Pill but also for his words to Lord Moore, which gave her a sense of security and recognition within the Moore family. Charlie praised Jasmine as the most suitable heir to the Moore family, considering her cousin unsuitable.

Chapter 690

Jasmine, however, doubted her ability to inherit, fearing she'd be cast out after her grandfather's death. Charlie reassured her.

At the clinic, Dr. Simmons and Xyla were cleaning up the damage. Charlie revealed that he'd broken Sean's hand and demanded an apology. Dr. Simmons worried about repercussions from the Webb family, but Charlie remained unconcerned.

Xyla admired Charlie's actions. Charlie then confessed to being responsible for Kian's condition, explaining that he'd psychologically influenced Kian due to the latter's abusive behavior toward female students. Xyla and Dr. Simmons were shocked. Charlie justified his actions, saying he couldn't stand Kian's behavior. Xyla praised Charlie, and Jasmine was surprised that Donald's actions in Aurous Hill were ultimately connected to Charlie.
