The Amazing Son-in-Law: Chapters 701-705

Chapter 701

Before this, every visit to Heaven Springs left Marcus heartbroken. The words "Pathetic Jerk" branded on his forehead were a constant source of humiliation, drawing the stares of guests and staff. But today was different. Tonight, Don Albertt would die, leaving his father, Mr. Lloyd, to inherit his position as Aurouss Hill's underground emperor. Mr. Lloyd would then be known as "Master Lloyd," and Marcus would finally be rid of his shameful scar and the torment of those words. This thought filled Marcus with excitement.

Seeing his son in the car, Mr. Lloyd respectfully addressed Mr. Jones, the Webb family bodyguard: "Mr. Jones, everything depends on you."

Mr. Jones coldly nodded. "Don't worry. No one in Aurouss Hill can match me. Don Albertt won't survive tonight."

Mr. Lloyd was ecstatic. He and his son had long anticipated this moment. Meanwhile, Don Albertt invited Jacob Wilson and others to Heaven Springs' Diamond Box. He escorted Wilson to the most prominent seat, respectfully saying, "Mr. Wilson, please."

Jacob Wilson, however, felt uneasy. He looked at Mr. Price and said, "Mr. Price should be seated here."

Mr. Price, tense, quickly waved his hand. "Oh, Mr. Wilson, how could I? You should have this seat."

Had Jacob Wilson offered him the seat earlier, Mr. Price would have accepted without hesitation. As president of the Calligraphy and Painting Association, it would have seemed natural. But Don Albertt's deference to Wilson made him hesitant. He was fortunate to have avoided a fate similar to Samuel Yount's.

Others echoed, "Yes, Brother Wilson, the seat is yours!"

Basking in the praise, Jacob Wilson smiled. "Haha, since everyone insists, I won't be polite!" He took the main seat, flanked by Mr. Phillips and Mr. Price.

Don Albertt smiled. "Mr. Wilson, please wait. The food will be ready soon. Enjoy some tea for now."

A female manager approached Don Albertt, whispering, "Albert, the Lloyd family is here."

Don Albertt's face lit up. "Excellent! This is Mr. Wilson's celebration as the Calligraphy and Painting Association's standing director. Bring the Lloyds into the Diamond Box. They can join the celebration!"

The manager bowed and left. Jacob Wilson was flattered by the use of the Diamond Box and the planned celebration. "Albert, you don't need to be so polite"

Don Albertt waved his hand, smiling. "Haha, it's my pleasure! I've prepared a unique Aurouss Hill spectacle for you, connected to your son-in-law, Master Wade. It's sure to impress you."

Intrigued, the guests settled in, eagerly awaiting the show.

Chapter 702

Shortly after, the female manager returned, accompanied by a cowering young man. The Calligraphy and Painting Association members were puzzled. This was Don Albertt's show? The young man seemed unremarkable.

Upon entering, the young man bowed fearfully to Don Albertt. "Don Albertt, I'm here as you requested."

It was Marcus. Don Albertt had instructed him to appear bi-weekly to inspect his forehead, ensuring no scar removal or surgery. However, Marcus's visit wasn't for inspection; it was for a different purpose.

From the moment he arrived, Marcus had silently counted the security guards. Upon entering the box, he assessed the elderly guests, concluding they posed little threat. He believed a machete could easily subdue them.

Don Albertt addressed Marcus: "Marcus, these are leaders of our Aurouss Hill Calligraphy and Painting Association. They appreciate calligraphy. Show Mr. Wilson the 'human calligraphy' on your forehead; let them comment."

Humiliation washed over Marcus. He wanted to leave but knew his father awaited his report. He had to play his part. Gritting his teeth, he slowly raised his head, revealing his forehead. Despite the guests' age, the words "Pathetic Jerk" were unmistakable.

Chairman Price exclaimed, "What's this? Why is 'Pathetic Jerk' engraved on this young man's forehead?"

Don Albertt sneered. "This young man has a foul mouth, insulting others. He offended Master Wade, calling him a 'pathetic jerk.' Since he enjoys using those words, I've ensured they'll stay with him."

Jacob Wilson was surprised. "His forehead was branded because he offended my son-in-law?"

"Yes!" Don Albertt nodded. "Master Wade is not to be trifled with!"

Mr. Price was astonished. "Jacob Wilson, why haven't you mentioned your powerful son-in-law?"

Mr. Phillips agreed. "You're very low-key, Jacob Wilson!"

Jacob Wilson chuckled. "My son-in-law is very low-key, so I am too!"

The flattery continued. Marcus, however, seethed. Jacob Wilson was Charlie Wade's father-in-law. This was his opportunity for revenge.

Chapter 703

After the humiliation, Don Albertt dismissed Marcus. Instead of covering his forehead, Marcus returned to the car with Mr. Lloyd and Mr. Jones, his expression murderous.

Mr. Lloyd anxiously inquired, "Son, what's the situation?"

Marcus gritted his teeth. "Over 30 waiters and security guards, but more than half are women. Only about twelve security guards are a real threat."

Mr. Lloyd turned to Mr. Jones, worried. "Mr. Jones, are you sure about this? Will you be overwhelmed?"

Mr. Jones sneered. "Even if they were all security guards, it wouldn't matter."

Mr. Lloyd praised, "Mr. Jones is truly exceptional!"

Mr. Jones nodded arrogantly. "Where's Don Albertt?"

Marcus blurted out, "He's in the Diamond Box on the top floor!" Then, excitedly, "Dad, Mr. Jones, I found something amazing in Heaven Springs!"

"What is it?" Mr. Lloyd asked quickly.

Marcus grinned. "Charlie Wade's father-in-law is there, dining in the Diamond Box with Don Albertt. Should we kill them both?"

"Charlie Wade's father-in-law?!" Mr. Lloyd rejoiced. "Perfect! Charlie Wade beat me at Lord Moore's birthday banquet! Let's get him today!" Killing Charlie Wade's father-in-law would avenge him and his son, and also potentially curry favor with Sean.

He turned to Mr. Jones. "Mr. Jones, you know about Charlie Wade's actions at the Moore family banquet. Should we eliminate his father-in-law?"

Mr. Jones nodded. "Charlie Wade insulted my master and young master. I wouldn't hesitate to kill him. His father-in-law is fair game!"

"Let's go!" Mr. Lloyd exclaimed.

Chapter 704

In the Diamond Box, a luxurious feast was underway. Don Albertt addressed Jacob Wilson, "Mr. Wilson, I've prepared a special health-preserving meal. The ingredients are the best Aurouss Hill has to offer, all-natural."

Jacob Wilson's mouth watered. Even before the Wilson family's downfall, he hadn't experienced such extravagance. He often dreamt of this kind of luxury.

Don Albertt's meal was extravagant indeed. A single serving of double-headed abalone cost $8,880. Black truffles, caviar, and other delicacies further inflated the cost—at least two to three million dollars total.

Jacob Wilson was overwhelmed. "Don Albertt, thank you for your hospitality!"

Don Albertt smiled, handing him a business card. "Mr. Wilson, please keep this. Call me anytime you want to use the Diamond Box."

The Calligraphy and Painting Association members were impressed by Jacob Wilson's status. Don Albertt served and poured wine, even personally toasting Jacob Wilson.

"This is 40-year-old Moutai, six figures per catty," Don Albertt explained. "Mr. Wilson, please drink more if you like."

Jacob Wilson thanked him profusely. "You're so kind, Don Albertt!"

Don Albertt explained his devotion stemmed from Charlie Wade's kindness, and thus his father-in-law deserved exceptional treatment.

Jacob Wilson marveled at Charlie Wade's manipulative abilities. The others at the table also flattered Jacob Wilson.

Mr. Price raised his glass. "Jacob Wilson, thank you for this amazing meal. The old man has never eaten like this!" He added, "We've also got a new standing director—Jacob Wilson! Let's all toast him!"

Everyone cheered. Jacob Wilson, surprised but delighted, thanked them all, promising to continue contributing to the Association. As they raised their glasses, a loud bang erupted—the door burst open.

Chapter 705

The loud noise startled everyone. A burly middle-aged man entered with a cold expression, followed by four more equally arrogant men—Donald's bodyguards. Mrr.. Lloyd and Marcus followed, grinning triumphantly.

Don Albertt frowned, addressing Mrr.. Lloyd and Marcus, "You're brave entering Heaven Springs like this."

Marcus sneered. "Don Albertt, you're about to die. We're here to kill you!"

Everyone's jaws dropped. Someone dared to challenge Don Albertt?

Don Albertt scoffed. "You want my life? You don't know how many people I have in Aurouss Hill!"

Mrr.. Lloyd retorted, "Your men are useless. We've taken out your security guards. No one can save you now!" He pointed to Mr. Jones. "These are Webb family masters. You're going to die! Kneel before Marcus, lick his shoes, and he might spare you!"

Don Albertt felt a surge of anxiety. He had been too complacent. He usually didn't carry many bodyguards, but the Webb family's five bodyguards seemed exceptionally skilled. Even twenty men might not stop them.

Marcus pointed at Jacob Wilson. "You're Charlie Wade's father-in-law?"

Jacob Wilson was terrified.

Marcus sneered, "Charlie Wade humiliated me and my father. If he were here, I'd kill him. But you'll do as a substitute!"

Jacob Wilson's face went pale. He wanted to hide. Other members of the Calligraphy and Painting Association hid as well.

Mr. Jones coldly ordered, "Everyone not involved with Don Albertt and Jacob Wilson, get out, or die with them!" Mr. Price and others fled in panic. Mr. Phillips, torn between loyalty and self-preservation, hesitated.
