Listen to this chapter:

Just as Elaine Ma was thrilled, Kevin boisterously announced, "Uncles and aunties, relax! I'll speak with them now. Await my good news!"

Elaine Ma, feeling invincible with Kevin's presence, excitedly blurted, "Kevin, I'll come with you!"

Charlie Wade quickly interjected, "Mom, I think you'd better stay back. If Kevin can't handle it, you'll be in trouble!"

"Bah!" Elaine Ma grumbled angrily. "How dare you doubt Kevin's abilities, you loser?!"

The other seniors, expecting Kevin to recover their money, were annoyed and aggravated by Charlie Wade's dissent.

Ignoring their resentful glares and murmurs, Charlie Wade flatly stated, "Mom, it's best you wait here. It's best to be an observer."

Elaine Ma found his voice revolting and immediately cursed, "Shut your smelly mouth! This isn't the place for you to speak!"

Pompousness and arrogance were written all over Kevin's face. "Do you think I'm like you, a loser who just stands around and whines?"

Seeing his mother-in-law wouldn't listen, Charlie Wade shrugged and said calmly, "Okay then, let's await your 'good news,' Mr. White."

Charlie Wade despised his mother-in-law. Today's incident seemed like a simple fraud, but he suspected a larger, sinister plot. The condescending Elaine Ma was too stubborn to heed his warnings and insisted on intervening.

Of course, Elaine Ma didn't know Charlie Wade's concern. She glared at him before turning to Kevin and apologizing, "Kevin, please ignore the loser. I believe in you"

Kevin chuckled triumphantly. "No worries, Auntie. I won't stoop to his level."

He turned toward the building and said confidently, "Auntie, let's go!"

Kevin led Elaine Ma through the crowd toward Axel Insurance. At the door, he loudly shouted at the workers blocking the entrance, "Listen up! Tell your employer to reimburse their money immediately! Otherwise, I'll return with lawyers and security, and I'll break down your door and arrest you and your boss!"

Elaine Ma added, "Do you hear him, you nitwits? I have someone backing us up! If you don't repay us, Mr. White will send you all to jail!"

The young security guard at the front was anxious. "I'm sorry, I'm just a security guard; I can't handle this."

Kevin said coldly, "Call your employer then! Tell him I'm Kevin White of the White family in Aurouss Hill! Tell him to deal with me personally; I warned him!"

Kevin's pompousness was evident. While the White family wasn't the most prominent in Aurouss Hill, they were considered middle-class. The young employee, slightly intimidated despite not knowing the full story, promptly called his employer.
