Kevin stood before the imposing doors of Axle Insurance, a hopeful expression on his face. He believed this was his chance to impress Claire Wilson's mother. Winning her affection, he reasoned, would quickly win Claire's hand. Claire Wilson was, after all, one of the most beautiful women in Aurous Hill. Nerves fluttered within him.

He announced loudly, "Uncles and aunts, don't worry! Those in charge will refund everyone!"

Everyone, that is, except Charlie Wade, who sneered at Kevin. Just as Kevin basked in the cheers, the door swung open from the inside.

A middle-aged man, Don Albert, entered with an overwhelming presence. He was accompanied by a team of imposing bodyguards. Don Albert's intimidating reputation was well-known, yet few had seen him in person. No one, including Kevin, recognized him, only recognizing Axel Jordan, the owner of Axle Insurance. Gasps rippled through the crowd.

"Damn! Kevin actually got Mr. Jordan involved! He's amazing!"

"Yes! It's all thanks to Elaine Ma that we'll get our refunds!"

"Elaine Ma, Kevin is the perfect son-in-law!"

Elaine Ma basked in the compliments. Kevin had indeed elevated her status among her friends. She smiled broadly, her eyes filled with satisfaction and pride. Kevin strutted forward, triumphant and arrogant.

Unaware of Axel or Albert's identities, and observing Axel's deference towards Albert, Kevin mistook Albert for the boss. He addressed Albert proudly, "Are you the boss of Axle Insurance?"

With an ambiguous smile, Albert replied, "No, I'm not in charge. I'm just assisting him, but you can tell me anything."

Kevin raised an eyebrow and smirked disdainfully. "So you're just a sidekick! You're not worthy of speaking to me. Get out of my way and fetch your boss!"

Charlie Wade shook his head, regarding Kevin as an imbecile. The man in the suit, with his bodyguards, clearly held significant power. Kevin was digging his own grave.

Unaware, Elaine Ma chimed in, "Kevin, don't waste your time with the worthless sidekick. The man beside him is the owner!"

Axel's shock was palpable. Kevin and the older woman's audacity was breathtaking. Their disrespect of Don Albert was astounding. Few in Aurous Hill would dare insult Don Albert so openly, and those who did would likely face dire consequences.
