Sitting opposite Doris's desk, Charlie Wade began, "I won't be in the office often, so I need you to oversee the company on my behalf. Furthermore, please keep my identity confidential."

An assistant knocked. "Miss Young, a Mr. Gerald White and his fiancée are here to see you."

Doris replied immediately, "I'm with a VIP. Tell them to wait."

Charlie Wade asked, "Do you know Gerald White?"

"Mr. White's family is one of our partners; several of their major projects are linked to our company. They've been here several times to see me."

Charlie Wade said coolly, "From now on, Emgrand Group will cease all business transactions with the White family. Halt all current and future projects. If the White family earns another cent from our company, I don't need you as vice chairman!"

Doris was momentarily shocked, realizing someone from the White family must have offended him. She responded forcefully, "Mr. Wade, don't worry. I'll immediately instruct my team to end all partnerships with the White family!"

Charlie Wade replied, "Tell them Emgrand Group has no interest in associating with lowlifes, then have security escort them out."

Outside, Gerald and Wendy waited anxiously. The White family had coveted a key role in their cooperation with Emgrand, hoping to cultivate a strong relationship with Doris Young. Instead, Ms. Young's secretary approached, accompanied by several guards.

The secretary glared. "Miss Young will not see you, and you're not welcome here again!"

Gerald shouted, "We're a long-term business partner! She can't just end our projects! Don't mess with us!"

The secretary ignored him and instructed the guards, "Escort them out!"

The security captain grabbed Gerald's wrist, twisting it painfully. "Get out! Make a scene, and I'll break you in half!"

"You're just security! Do you know who I am?"

The captain slapped Gerald and yelled, "What are you to Emgrand Group?"

Gerald's face burned. His phone rang—his father.

A furious roar erupted from the other end. "Emgrand Group is terminating all projects with us!"

Gerald protested, "No, Father, that's not true! I didn't offend anyone. I just came to see Miss Young…"

His father shouted, "Emgrand Group said it's because of you, you lowlife! Because of you, our family is facing massive losses! Get home and explain this to your grandfather!"

Hanging up, Gerald and Wendy were forcibly ejected. Charlie Wade's face immediately sprang to mind. He turned to Wendy. "Wendy, is this because of your loser cousin-in-law? Does he have anything to do with Emgrand Group?"

Wendy was astonished. Considering the circumstances, it could be connected to him, but he was a loser! She shook her head vehemently. "No! He's not even qualified to clean their toilets!"

"You're right…" Gerald nodded numbly, head bowed. "I need to go home…"

News of the White family's dismissal spread through Aurouss Hill like wildfire. No one knew the reason, but they assumed the Whites had deeply offended Emgrand. The White family was considered finished.

Girl Wilson, furious, wanted to cancel Wendy's engagement, but even after the termination, the Whites still held more influence, so she could only endure.

Back in Doris's office, Charlie Wade was impressed by her swift, decisive action. He smiled. "Doris, excellent work. Your salary is doubled, starting today."

"Second, announce Emgrand Group's $2 billion investment in a six-star resort in Aurouss Hill, and the opening of a tender bidding process for partners. All construction and interior design companies are welcome to bid!"

Winning the bid would make any company incredibly desirable. Now that he owned Emgrand, he could offer his partner some lucrative deals.
