Chapter 1886

Elaine Ma smiled. "Good, good! I'll go out now. Call me if you need anything!"

Charlie Wade nodded. "Okay, Mom."

"It's good," he added, unconcerned. Elaine Ma was an adult; going out was normal.

Meanwhile, Christopher watched Charlie Wade's house from his terrace. A sneer touched his lips as he saw Elaine Ma leave hurriedly. He quickly descended the stairs.

"Harold," he said, "Elaine Ma's out! How are your friends' preparations?"

Harold grinned. "Dad, don't worry. Everything's ready. Elaine Ma won't be coming back!"

Christopher urged, "Come, review the plan with me. Let's check for omissions."

Wendy and Mrs. Wilson leaned in, expectant.

Harold announced, "First, the beauty card sent by same-city courier. That Lizi Beauty Health Club its owner's a former friend of mine. He's struggling financially and wants to sell, but hasn't been able to."

Christopher waved a hand. "Get to the point!"

"Dad, I have to explain the whole plan!" Harold insisted.

Christopher nodded. "Go on."

Harold continued, "My friend's desperate. I'll exploit the New Year's rush – people are busy, neglecting their beauty routines. I'll help him abscond with the money. I'm paying him $200,000 for his cooperation."

Wendy asked, "Brother, are you planning to hold Elaine Ma at the salon?"

"Yes!" Harold nodded. "The salon has a back door. A technician will slip sleeping pills into her drink. Once she's unconscious, we'll take her out unnoticed."

Hannah asked, "Harold, what then?"

Harold shrugged. "I haven't decided. What do you think?"

Hannah said, through gritted teeth, "A black coal mine! Send her to dig coal!"

Harold stammered, "I don't know anyone who runs one."

Wendy suggested, "Send her to Africa to grow sugarcane! Illegal immigrants there are stuck chopping sugarcane for life!"

Harold coughed. "Wendy, that's illegal immigration!"

Hannah exclaimed, "Are you just going to have someone sleep with her, take pictures, and let her go? That's too easy on her!"

Christopher, despite his dislike for Hannah, agreed. "Yes! She might even enjoy it!"

Mrs. Wilson suggested, "We're working with Mr. Webb. Maybe he knows someone who runs a black coal mine."

Chapter 1887

Donald's life was miserable. Sean was recovering from injuries; Kian's condition worsened. Xenia was divorcing him, primarily because of Marcone and Lily's deaths. She felt Donald hadn't protected his brother or found the killer, and instead, spent his time berating the deceased.

Donald hated Marcone, blaming him for ruining the Webb family's reputation and plummeting its market value. Once Southaven's leading family, they weren't even in the top ten. He found his wife's accusations unreasonable.

Their cold war continued. Donald, once doting, now ignored her, focusing solely on rebuilding the family business. He was overseeing a real estate project in Aurous Hill and received a call from Christopher.

Christopher said, "Mr. Webb, it's Christopher. Long time no see!"

Donald said coldly, "What is it?"

Christopher smiled, "Mr. Webb, New Year's coming. We want to make Charlie Wade's family miserable. We'll target his mother-in-law, Elaine Ma, take pictures and videos, and upload them online."

Donald was interested. "Christopher, you finally dared to act against Charlie Wade?"

Christopher said, "Mr. Webb, I hadn't formulated a plan. But this time, we'll do it perfectly! Charlie Wade's in Aurous Hill. They call him the Real Dragon. Let's see if he can handle his mother-in-law being humiliated."

Donald chuckled, "Good! Do it well, and I won't treat you badly."

Christopher eagerly asked, "Mr. Webb, do you know anyone who runs a black coal mine? I'll send Elaine Ma there after we're done."

Donald replied, "There aren't many coal mines in the South. But I do have a friend who runs a brick factory. It's hard work, even harder than a coal mine. We can send Elaine Ma there as a coolie!"

Christopher exclaimed, "That's great! A woman like that deserves it!" He asked for the address.

Donald sneered. "I have a deep hatred for Charlie Wade. I'm in Aurous Hill; I won't miss this. Tie her up, give me the address, and I'll witness it myself."

Christopher agreed. "I'll call you."

Donald hummed. "Call me when you're finished."

Christopher excitedly told his family about Mr. Webb's brick factory idea.

Hannah protested, "The coal mine was my idea! The brick factory is too easy on her!"

Christopher retorted, "The brick factory is worse! It's hot all year round, backbreaking work. It's far tougher than a coal mine!"

Hannah felt better, but silently hoped Elaine Ma would encounter a "squinty supervisor" and get pregnant again.

Meanwhile, in Shangri-La Hotel's Presidential Suite, Cynthia reported to Lord Wade, portraying Charlie Wade as a low-quality, uneducated scumbag.

Lord Wade said, "Cynthia, you're easily swayed by emotions. I'm disappointed."

Cynthia panicked, "Dad, where did I go wrong?"

Lord Wade said, "You don't understand why I want Charlie Wade back."

Cynthia argued, "He's low-quality. We should cut ties!"

Lord Wade said, "I want one of my grandsons to marry Zara Banks or Stefanie Sun. Charlie Wade has the best chance."

Lord Wade revealed that Orrin Sun wanted his daughter to marry Charlie Wade, regardless of his current circumstances.

Lord Wade suggested contacting Charlie Wade's wife or father-in-law.

Cynthia planned to give Charlie Wade's wife money to divorce him.

Lord Wade said, "Target his mother-in-law first. She's greedy."

Cynthia agreed.

Lord Wade warned against revealing his identity to Elaine Ma.

Cynthia ordered her bodyguard to locate Elaine Ma.

Chapter 1890

Elaine Ma arrived at the beauty salon and used her package card. The clerk was polite and efficient. Elaine Ma happily went to bathe.

The clerk informed the boss, who called Harold. Harold told him to keep Elaine Ma calm and said he'd be there in half an hour. He instructed the salon to close to other clients.

A Rolls-Royce arrived. Cynthia, dressed extravagantly, stepped out, looking down at the salon.

Her bodyguard informed her Elaine Ma was inside. Cynthia entered.

The clerk apologetically said they weren't accepting clients.

Cynthia frowned, "Elaine Ma's here for a spa! Why aren't you accepting her?"
