Chapter 2004

It was clear to her that anyone living in a Series A villa possessed far more influence than she did. Her mind raced anxiously: "It's over, it's over! This is a disaster! Who knew this lady had such skills? I even slapped her! If she wants revenge, I'm in big trouble!"

The security guard was equally terrified. "What's going on? Is this lady really a Thompson First villa resident? I don't remember her." He continued, "Besides, villa residents are usually wealthy and influential. If she's so rich and powerful, why is she returning to Thompson First with leftover food? Is eating leftovers the new rich-person trend?"

Lady Wilson angrily demanded, "Open your eyes! Am I a resident of A04 or not?!"

The woman was terrified. Though she'd only seen Lady Wilson's back, the smell of leftover food preceded her.

[The following sentence is unclear and seems out of place: "I'm going to hold my nose and plan to walk around the point."] It should be removed or rephrased within context.

As Jacob Wilson reached the gate, his card swipe triggered a voice: "Hello, esteemed resident of Villa A05, welcome home." The gate opened. Hearing "A05," Lady Wilson looked over, recognized Jacob, and shouted, "Jacob Wilson! Jacob Wilson!"

Jacob turned, recognizing his mother. Embarrassed, he asked, "Mom, what are you doing here?"

Lady Wilson's presence terrified the woman nearly to the point of incontinence. She panicked, thinking, "I'm dead! This lady lives in A04, and her son in A05โ€ฆ They're a powerful family! I beat up a member of a powerful family!"

Lady Wilson pointed at the woman and angrily told Jacob, "Jacob! This woman beat me! Teach her a lesson!"

Jacob was embarrassed. He responded, "Mom, this needs the police. And besides, fighting on New Year's Eve? This is unacceptable." He continued, "Everyone in Thompson First is wealthy, and if I retaliate against someone influential, I'll get in trouble."

He then said to Lady Wilson, "Mom, call the police first. If they can't resolve it, then come to me." Without waiting for a reply, he added, "Mom, something came up at home, I have to go."

He left quickly, wanting no further involvement with his mother, especially not on New Year's Eve. He prioritized spending a peaceful holiday with his family.
