Rueben hurriedly stood up and blurted out, "Have you found my sister's whereabouts? Have you found anything of value?!"

The reporting officer shook his head. "The situation is unclear. We found no trace of Miss Moore at the scene, no signs of survivors, and no evidence she disembarked the bus early. Everything is unknown."

Rueben's heart pounded. "If Jasmine is dead, it's simple. Even if the Tokyo Police Department discovers a homicide, I'm safe. I didn't do it, and it's nearly impossible to prove otherwise. They can continue their investigation, I'll retrieve Jasmine's body, arrange the funeral, and then deal with that old woman. The Moore family will be mine and Dad's."

Rueben said coldly, "Mr. Hashimoto, the Tokyo Police Department says my sister is missing! What the hell is going on?"

Hashimoto was surprised. "Missing? How?"

Rueben gritted his teeth. "She vanished! No one knows where she is—no body, no person!"

Hashimoto mumbled, "This is impossible! My men rammed her vehicle into the cliff valley. It took less than a minute to reach the bottom. Even Amaterasu Daijin couldn't have survived!"

Rueben raged, "Don't feed me that bullshit! If Amaterasu Daijin couldn't escape, then why did my sister?"

"The police found neither her body nor any trace of her!"

Hashimoto's voice trembled. "This is wrong! I have a video, taken by one of my men. It clearly shows your sister in the car at the time of the impact!"

Rueben demanded, "She was in the car, yet disappeared after crashing into the valley. Where the hell did she go?"

Hashimoto's voice was desperate. "She she should be dead No one could survive that fall!"

Rueben scoffed, "If she's dead, does the corpse walk away?"

Hashimoto stammered, "I I don't know"

Rueben growled, "There's only one possibility: she escaped! Find her and kill her! If this is exposed, we're both finished!"
