Ito Yuuhiko's words put Charlie Wade on alert. He asked, "Mr. Ito, are you well acquainted with the chairman of New Nippon Steel?"

"Yes!" Ito Yuuhiko replied seriously. "The chairman, Watanabe Shinwa, is a close friend."

Charlie Wade nodded. "Please ask him if he's cooperating with a Chinese company to build a factory. If so, ask which company and if the deal is finalized."

"Okay, Mr. Wade," Ito Yuuhiko said. "I'll ask him now."

Jasmine urgently asked, "Charlie, do you suspect Mr. Watanabe?"

Charlie Wade shook his head. "Both Watanabe Shinwa and the vice chairman who asked you to meet him are suspicious, but I'm unsure who's involved, or if both are, or neither."

Jasmine nodded, remaining silent. She understood this was beyond her capabilities, and with Charlie Wade in Japan, she deferred to his judgment.

Ito Yuuhiko, sensing a problem, patted his chest. "Mr. Wade, I know Watanabe Shinwa well. While his business tactics are shrewd, he's honest. I believe he's uninvolved in Miss Moore's murder."

Charlie Wade smiled. "Mr. Ito, it's not a lack of trust, but this involves multiple lives. Please ask Watanabe Shinwa discreetly, so he doesn't detect your suspicions."

Ito Yuuhiko nodded, immediately calling Watanabe Shinwa. The call was answered with a lazy, "Ito, what's up, you bastard?"

Ito Yuuhiko laughed. "Where are you, Watanabe?"

Watanabe Shinwa yawned. "Sleeping. What do you want? Unless it's important, let me sleep."

Ito Yuuhiko said, "I heard you're working with a Chinese company. Is there a firm you're interested in?"

Watanabe Shinwa asked curiously, "Are you getting into steel?"

Ito Yuuhiko replied, "No, I know some Chinese contacts. If you haven't decided on a partner, I might help."

Watanabe Shinwa said, "We're considering it, connecting with some powerful Chinese companies. But I've left it to Hashimoto."

Ito Yuuhiko asked, "Hashimoto Konzen?"

"Yes," Watanabe Shinwa said. "This factory isn't a huge deal for Nippon Steel. I usually don't get involved, but if you have a friend interested, I'll help."

Ito Yuuhiko said, "Thank you. Has Hashimoto decided on a partner? If so, it's inappropriate for me to interfere."

Watanabe Shinwa said indifferently, "Don't worry about Hashimoto. He's a senior employee. He decides without my input, but follows my orders if I intervene."

Ito Yuuhiko laughed. "Understood. I'll check with my friend and contact you if needed."

Watanabe Shinwa said, "Anything else? I'm going back to sleep!"

"Okay, sleep well."

After hanging up, Ito Yuuhiko told Charlie Wade, "Mr. Wade, Watanabe seems unaware. He didn't even mention Miss Moore's collaboration with Hashimoto Konzen. He couldn't be involved in her murder."
