Jasmine was even more surprised. “I can’t think of any benefit to him from my death. He’d gain nothing!”

Charlie Wade looked at Jasmine seriously. “He might not gain benefits directly, but consider who might benefit after your death.”

Jasmine’s expression tightened. “Charlie Wade… you mean… someone hired him to kill me?!”

Charlie Wade nodded firmly. “I believe so.”
