Chapter 2087

Noon in the mountains of West Domo Prefecture. The weather in Tokyo was excellent. A clear sky and warm sun bathed the land in brightness. The exceptional visibility made it an ideal day for search and rescue.

The Tokyo Police Department had searched all night for Jasmine but found no trace, leaving the department desperate. The search area, initially centered around the incident site and expanding to five and then ten kilometers, yielded nothing. The department planned to extend the search to twenty kilometers; if that proved fruitless, they would have to declare Jasmine missing.

This news deeply worried Reuben. He needed to find Jasmine's body as soon as possible; otherwise, the uncertainty would torment him.

Hashimoto Konzen was equally anxious. The Tokyo Police Department strongly suspected Jasmine and her companions had been deliberately murdered and had begun investigating the scene. Despite Hashimoto's men's careful handling of the scene, no crime is perfect. Even the most meticulous precautions leave clues. The discovery of a key clue would unravel the entire conspiracy, implicating everyone from the perpetrators to Hashimoto Konzen, the mastermind.

Meanwhile, Master Moore, in Aurouss Hilll, was distraught over Jasmine's disappearance. He had called Reuben multiple times that morning, inquiring about the police's progress, only to receive reports of no new clues. This weighed heavily on him. Although he desperately hoped for his granddaughter's safety, the prolonged silence prepared him for the worst. He knew time was running out.

He urgently called Charlie Wade. His voice choked with plea, he said, "Master Wade, please do something to save Jasmine!" Tears welled in his eyes.

Charlie Wade quickly consoled him, "Don't worry, Master. I will do my best to help."

Master Moore lamented, "Master Wade, Reuben went to Japan overnight, but they still haven't found Jasmine. The three people with her are dead, and Jasmine's fate is unknown. How can I not be anxious?"

Charlie Wade considered revealing Jasmine's safety but decided against it. He resolved to keep the information confidential, regardless of who inquired.

He told Master Moore, "Don't worry, Master Moore. I've contacted friends in Tokyo to assist in the search. I'll inform you immediately if there's any news."

Master Moore choked back tears. "Master Wade, I have a bad feeling. This seems like foul play. Everyone else is dead, but she's missing. I fear the worst."

Charlie Wade replied, "Master Moore, there's no definitive conclusion yet. Don't be too pessimistic. I believe Jasmine's good fortune will prevail."

Master Moore paused, then pleaded, "Master Wade, if possible, I have a request"
