Chapter 2091

Hearing Charlie Wade's request for a grand motorcade, Nanako smiled. "Charlie Wade," she said, "isn't a motorcade a little underwhelming? Why not send a couple of helicopters?"

Charlie Wade smiled slightly. "He's staying at the Aman Tokyo Hotel. Wouldn't helicopters in the city center be inappropriate?"

Nanako's smile faltered, then she said seriously, "Charlie Wade, this is a minor matter for the Ito family. If you wish, leave the arrangements to me. I won't disappoint you!"

Charlie Wade considered this, then nodded. "Then I'll leave it to you. My only goal is to completely shock him."

Nanako smiled. "Don't worry, Charlie Wade. I'll give him a very vivid and realistic lesson!"

Aman Hotel.

Rueben asked his beautiful assistant to apply band-aids to his hands. This woman was not only his assistant, but also his lover.

After treating his wounds, she said anxiously, "Mr. Moore, you mustn't be so impulsive! You can't risk your life like this!"

Rueben's expression darkened. "You don't understand. It's not impulsiveness; Master Wade is too cunning. His presence in Tokyo is a huge problem for me!"

"Mr. Moore," his assistant said hurriedly, "dealing with someone like him shouldn't be that difficult, right? Have Hashimoto Kon gather some killers. Just find a chance to eliminate him."

Rueben waved his hand, sighing. "You don't understand. You don't know what Master Wade is capable of. He's extremely powerful; ordinary people are no match for him. Besides, acting rashly will likely expose us prematurely, leading to more harm than good."

"Mr. Moore," his assistant asked, "what should we do then? Is it truly as the old man saidโ€”everything is at his disposal?"

Rueben nodded. "Right now, we have no choice but to cooperate superficially and hope he doesn't discover my problem." He sighed. "I just don't know if I can remain calm in front of him. He's very shrewd, and if I'm not careful, he'll see through me."

"Mr. Moore," his assistant quickly said, "you're the best at psychological games I've ever met. I'm sure you won't reveal any flaws."

Rueben nodded slightly. "I hope so."

Just then, Rueben's phone rang. A woman's voice said, "Is this Mr. Rueben Moore?"

"Yes, it is," Rueben replied.

The woman continued, "Hello, Mr. Moore. I'm here to pick you up on Mr. Wade's behalf. Are you ready to leave?"

"I am. Where should we meet?" Rueben asked.

"You're staying at the Aman Hotel, I believe?"

"That's right. I'm in the Presidential Suite." Rueben emphasized "Presidential Suite" to assert his superiority.

He knew Charlie Wade was capable, but believed his skills were limited to Aurous Hill and would be compromised in Japan. He dismissed Charlie Wade's claim of having powerful friends in Japan. He assumed the person picking him up would be, at most, Tokyo middle class.
