Chapter 2093

In Reuben's heart, the Ito family held very high status. After all, it was the largest family in Japan, having just survived the brutal three-family battle in Tokyo. Its future seemed limitless. Therefore, Reuben didn't believe Charlie Wade had any genuine connection to the Ito family. He assumed Wade or a friend had simply rented a helicopter from the family's aviation company.

He and his assistant approached the helipad. A beautiful woman in a blue flight attendant uniform stood beside the helicopter. Seeing them, she respectfully addressed Reuben: "You must be Lord Moore, sir."

Reuben nodded arrogantly. "Yes, that's me. Are you here to pick me up?"

The woman smiled. "Yes, Lord Moore. Mr. Wade and our Miss are waiting for you at home. Please board with me."

Reuben grinned. "Master Wade is so polite. In the city, a car would suffice, wouldn't it?"

The woman calmly replied, "Lord Moore, our Miss insisted on a grand arrival."

Reuben shook his head, chuckling to himself derisively. A helicopter is grand? Does he think I'm a country bumpkin? The Moore family owns private planes and helicopters; this is nothing special.

However, since the helicopter came from Charlie Wade, he didn't dare express such disdain. Instead, he politely said, "In that case, I'll leave it to Master Wade."

He and his assistant boarded the spacious helicopter. Though it could hold at least twenty people, the cabin had been converted into a luxurious room, resembling a high-end RV.

Reuben sat on the couch and asked the woman, "How far away is Master Wade's home?"

"About fifteen kilometers," she smiled.

"Fifteen kilometers?" Reuben exclaimed. "That's a few minutes' flight, right?"

The woman smiled. "It will take about half an hour."

"What? Half an hour?!" Reuben was dumbfounded. "Even cycling fast, I could get there in half an hour! This helicopter must be incredibly slow."

The woman smiled. "Lord Moore, our Miss planned a sightseeing route to show her esteem. You'll understand later."

Confused, Reuben asked, "May I ask who your 'Miss' is?"

The woman apologized. "I'm sorry, Lord Moore, but I can't reveal her identity yet. You'll know when we arrive."

Reuben nodded. I wonder what Charlie Wade is up to? Why the helicopter?

The woman then said, "Lord Moore, we're about to take off. Please put on your headset and fasten your seatbelt."

"Good."

Reuben donned the headset and fastened his seatbelt. Helicopters are noisy, making conversation difficult. To address this, all crew and passengers wore noise-canceling headsets with intercom capabilities, allowing clear communication.
