Chapter 206

After Charlie Wade went downstairs, Don Albert, sitting in the car, urgently beckoned him. "Mr. Wade, get in the vehicle!"

Charlie Wade complied, quickly approaching the car. Albert drove immediately toward the city limits.

En route, Albert anxiously said, "I heard a renowned Feng Shui master is arriving from Hong Kong today. Mr. Wade, we can't let him steal your spotlight!"

He continued, "Miss Moore is the eldest daughter of the Moore family, soon to inherit the company. If we help her, she'll surely repay us in the future!"

Charlie Wade chuckled. "Albert, you're not so selfless. It seems you just want to curry favor with Jasmine?"

Albert replied, "Mr. Wade, you possess significant skills. Getting closer to Miss Moore wouldn't hurt. She's young, beautiful, and comes from a powerful family."

Charlie Wade faintly smiled. "If the Moore family's Hong Kong Feng Shui master is truly skilled, there's nothing I can do."

Albert sighed at Charlie Wade's words. "You're a metaphysics master with genuine abilities."

Charlie Wade remained silent, contemplating. If Master Lennard was a Lennard family descendant, he'd undoubtedly possess significant Feng Shui expertise. He decided to visit the Moore residence to assess Master Lennard's capabilities.

Miss Moore's villa was located in an exclusive suburban estate. Albert stopped before a luxurious mansion.

A man, appearing to be the Moore family's butler, emerged. Albert asked, "Uncle Oscar, is the eldest Miss home?"

The butler nodded. "Albert, what brings you here?"

Albert smiled. "Uncle Oscar, I brought a Feng Shui master to assess the young lady. He's a highly experienced expert!"

The butler eyed Charlie Wade skeptically. "Albert, Master Lennard from Hong Kong is already here. If you have nothing else, you should leave."

Albert replied, "Uncle Oscar, since Mr. Wade's here, can't he take a look? He's friends with Miss Moore!"

Oscar responded coldly, "Many claim friendship with Miss Moore. Master Lennard's been hired by the Moore family at great expense. I won't allow you to interfere."

Charlie Wade was surprised, not by the Feng Shui master's identity, but that Albert, a feared mob boss in Aurouss Hill, was treated with such disrespect by the Moore family's butler. He wondered what the reaction would be in Aurouss Hill if word spread about this.

Chapter 207

Despite the butler's disdain, Albert remained unfazed. "Miss Moore's problems are worsening. We can't assume Master Lennard will solve them."

Oscar coldly replied, "Do you think you can find anyone as skilled as Master Lennard? Leave immediately. Interfering with Master Lennard will cost you dearly."

Albert racked his brain. If Oscar refused entry, how could Charlie Wade help Jasmine? Suddenly, he blurted out, "Uncle Oscar, remember Jack Yaleman? He was a conceited Feng Shui master, but Mr. Wade called down thunder and lightning to kill him!"

Oscar was stunned, then looked at Charlie Wade with newfound respect. He'd heard of Jack's demise.

Addressing Charlie Wade professionally, he said, "I know of your abilities, Mr. Wade. I hope you won't bother Master Lennard. I hope you won't object if Master Lennard solves Miss Moore's problem."

Charlie Wade nodded. "No problem."

Oscar opened the gate. "You may enter."

Driving into the compound, Albert exclaimed, "Mr. Wade, that was brilliant! Uncle Oscar's never been so courteous to anyone but the Moore family."

Charlie Wade was detached. "You're pathetic, having to appease the Moore family's butler. I can't believe you're a mob boss."

Albert smiled. "Mr. Wade, I can't be disrespectful to such a prominent family." He parked. "Mr. Wade, let's see what Master Lennard can do!"

Chapter 208

Oscar led them inside the lavish villa. Upstairs, they were led to a room with the door ajar. Oscar knocked gently.

Inside, a lean middle-aged man in a blue shirt, using a compass, muttered incantations. Jasmine stood with her back to the door. Hearing a knock, she turned. "Uncle Oscar, is something wrong?"

Oscar replied, "Miss Moore, Albert brought Mr. Wade to help with your Feng Shui."

Jasmine was surprised to see Charlie Wade. "Charlie Wade, why are you here?"

Charlie Wade noticed Jasmine looked haggard. He saw ominous signs in her aura.

Charlie Wade smiled. "Albert told me you were in trouble, so he brought me to assess your Feng Shui."

The middle-aged man turned, "Miss Moore, I'm Master Lennard of the Lennard family. I don't allow interference. It disrupts the Feng Shui."

Jasmine knew Charlie Wade understood metaphysics, but Feng Shui was different. While Charlie Wade was a metaphysics master, she doubted he could match Master Lennard in Feng Shui.

She apologized, "Mr. Wade, Master Lennard is assessing my Feng Shui. Please wait downstairs."

Charlie Wade replied, "Miss Moore, wouldn't another opinion help? As your friend, I'd be happy to assist. I'll only intervene if Master Lennard fails."

The middle-aged man scoffed, "I'm Master Lennard, from twenty-two generations of Feng Shui masters! You dare call yourself a Feng Shui master?"

Charlie Wade, noticing a dark, bloody aura around Master Lennard, said, "Master Lennard, why didn't you predict your own fortune? Don't you know a bloody catastrophe awaits you today?"

Master Lennard laughed. "What? You're insane!"

Charlie Wade shrugged. "I'm telling you the truth. If you ignore your own fortune, you won't avoid this catastrophe!"

Master Lennard sneered, "Boy, I'm a Lennard family descendant! Don't boast in front of me!"

Charlie Wade smirked, "You think I'm boasting? You're not the first Feng Shui master I've met. I believe you're a fraud!"

Master Lennard cursed. "You call me a fraud? You're outrageous!"

Charlie Wade smiled. "Have you heard of Jack Yaleman? Do you know what happened to him?"

Master Lennard glared at Charlie Wade, then looked at Jasmine. "Miss Moore, if you'll allow, I shall proceed."

Jasmine replied, looking at Charlie Wade, "Master Lennard, please proceed."

Chapter 209

Jasmine was excited when Master Lennard declared he'd found the source of her problems. "Master Lennard, will my fortune improve after removing the potted plant?"

Master Lennard said gravely, "Even removing the plant won't fully eliminate its effect on the Feng Shui."

Jasmine asked, "Then what should I do?"

Master Lennard replied, "Replace the plant with an exorcism charm blessed by a Feng Shui master. This will completely remove your problems, and your fortune will flow from the east!"

Jasmine asked, "What's an exorcism charm?"

Master Lennard pulled out an egg-sized stone. "Miss Moore, this chalcedony, weathered for millions of years, will ensure your fortune flows from the east."

Jasmine, delighted, asked, "How much is this chalcedony stone? I'll buy it!"

Master Lennard's eyes lit up. "Miss Moore, it's worth eighty million Hong Kong dollars, but for you, ten million!"

Jasmine replied, "Money isn't a problem, as long as it solves my problems."

Master Lennard assured her, "Miss Moore, don't worry. Place this chalcedony by your window, and your fortune will change tomorrow!"

Jasmine, relieved, wrote a check for ten million dollars. She'd suffered various misfortunes recently: car accidents, a sprained ankle, the loss of a valuable necklace, and a lost business deal. Spending ten million to solve her problems seemed worthwhile.

Chapter 210

Master Lennard eagerly put away the check, removed the plant, and placed the chalcedony by the window, chanting incantations.

Charlie Wade scoffed. Master Lennard was making things worse! He recognized a "dragon encapsulation formation," trapping Jasmine's good fortune. If left unchecked, it could endanger her life. The plant was the only thing preventing the formation's completion. By removing it and replacing it with the stone, Master Lennard was completing the formation.

Master Lennard finished, declaring, "Miss Moore, I've restored the Feng Shui."

Jasmine asked, "Will my luck be restored immediately?"

"Yes!" Master Lennard nodded. "I've done this for famous people in Hong Kong and Macau, restoring their fortunes significantly!"

Jasmine asked, "Master Lennard, can you help me find my mother's necklace? I'll pay you another ten million."

Master Lennard scratched his head. "Miss Moore I only specialize in Feng Shui."

Jasmine nodded in disappointment. Just then, her phone rang. A woman spoke anxiously, "Miss Moore! Something terrible has happened!"

Jasmine asked, "What happened?"

The woman replied, "Our shipment to the US arrived at the port. The company says our products are substandard, and they want to return them, demanding three times the price as compensation!"

Jasmine's eyes widened in horror. The return of five thousand tons of products, plus the compensation, represented a massive financial loss.
