At that moment, Sienna was leaning against Leon, her profile turned towards him. Edith was watching them with an intense hint of envy in her eyes, also a problem. Phoebe nudged Brenda, saying, “Hey, doesn’t Edith’s profile look a lot like Sienna’s?”

Brenda glanced over, her expression instantly surprised. “Now that you mention it, they really do look alike.” Brenda happened to be taking pictures on her phone and managed to capture all four of them in one shot, even getting solo shots of Sienna and Edith.

Just as she finished, Edith seemed to sense something and turned her head, looking in their direction. Brenda reacted quickly, lowering her phone just in time. Although the lighting was dim, if someone looked closely, they could still make out the general appearance of those nearby.

Edith paused for a moment, but as if she didn’t recognize Brenda, she turned her gaze away. She moved closer to Frank, pouring him some wine while chatting with him. Frank occasionally nodded in response. They weren’t sitting too close, but Edith’s movements gave off a flirtatious vibe, especially considering the couple beside them.

Brenda chuckled at the sight. “She must have seen me and recognized me.” Their previous interactions had been perfectly normal. Yet now, Edith was clearly acting coy around Frank, likely for Brenda’s benefit.

Phoebe nodded. “She definitely recognized you.” She then asked, “Do you know what her background is?”

Recalling the earlier conversation, Brenda responded, “I don’t know. I asked Frank once, and he said she’s just a relative of his family. I didn’t want to be that woman who changes everything for a guy, so I never dug into Edith’s background or tried to put her down. I figured, why make it harder for another woman!”

She added, “Even though I can’t stand her and most of our fights are because of her, I never intentionally targeted her. After all, it takes two to tango. If Frank doesn’t have feelings for Edith, he won’t let Edith stay by his side.”

Brenda glanced at Edith, then back at Sienna. She remarked, “These two don’t look alike from the front, but from the side, they could be twins. Are you suspecting they have some connection?”

Phoebe nodded. “Exactly. It just seems too coincidental. Let me see their features more closely.” She usually didn’t analyze one’s fortune-telling. It would be tiring and felt like she was deliberately prying into others’ privacy. Unless someone clearly showed signs of bad luck, something that could be easily noticed at a glance, she would not pay them any attention. For example, that time in the live broadcast. Or if there was a need, she would do it.

Brenda curiously urged, “Take a look.” Noticing that Edith wasn’t looking their way, she stood up intentionally. Sure enough, part of Edith’s attention shifted, and she instinctively glanced in their direction. Phoebe took the opportunity to scrutinize her features closely. After Edith turned back to Frank, Sienna, sitting in Leon’s embrace, straightened up and reached for the glass of water the waiter brought for Leon. Phoebe observed Sienna’s features carefully as well. Then, she looked surprised. “Based on my reading, they seem to be half-sisters.”

Turning to Brenda, she asked, “What is her last name?”

Brenda’s eyes widened in shock, clearly taken aback by the revelation. “Edith’s surname is Knapp. Did Sienna also have the surname Knapp before she was a Jenkins?”

Phoebe frowned and shook her head. “No, she has the surname Morse.”

Brenda was taken aback. “Wait, how could they be half-sisters! Is there some kind of secret involved?” She trusted Phoebe’s judgment, so the issue had to be with these sisters. “Plus, it seems like they aren’t very familiar with each other,” she said. Observing Sienna and Edith, it appeared they had only just met and were unaware of each other’s existence.

Phoebe nodded in agreement. “They don’t seem like they’re pretending to be strangers. Could it be that they are unaware of each other's existence?” For some reason, she felt that this possibility was the most likely.

Brenda agreed. “That does seem likely. Then she joked, “Maybe the two of them are destined to be our rivals!” It was an odd coincidence that Edith and Sienna had disrupted Phoebe and Brenda’s relationships.

Hearing this, Phoebe’s expression turned serious. “Sienna’s birth date is the same as mine.” She had learned this from Lydia after arriving at the Jenkins family home. Lydia had mentioned that they adopted Sienna because an expert had calculated their compatibility based on their birth dates. They adopted Sienna, giving her the same name in hopes of eventually finding her biological daughter. The involvement of a so-called expert had raised some doubts for her.

For instance, Phoebe had been abducted at four years old, waking up to only vague memories of playing with a little boy who got distracted by a street performer and forgot about her. She only vaguely recalled that he was Jamar. But she could not remember what he looked like, his name, or where they were. Most importantly, Phoebe had no recollection of her name, her parents, or her family situation, which led to her being unclaimed after being rescued. So after being rescued, because she couldn’t remember anything, and since the city was far from Solara City, she ended up being a child that no relatives could find to claim.

After being taken in by Percival, Phoebe still could remember events from her childhood. She had always been clever, even possessing nearly photographic memory abilities. It didn’t seem right that she would forget everything at four years old. Now that she had learned about Sienna and Edith being half-sisters, her sense of unease deepened.

Hearing Phoebe’s words, Brenda’s face reflected her surprise. “Wait, you were born on the same date?” Then she added, “I want to mention that Edith and I were also born on the same day. I stumbled upon her resume at work and was shocked to see we shared a birthday.”

Brenda looked at Phoebe with confusion. “Could it really be this coincidental? But I don’t know what time she was born.” Yet she felt that there was a chance they might share the same birth time.

Phoebe replied, “I don’t think it can be that coincidental. We need to investigate Edith and Sienna’s backgrounds thoroughly.” Brenda nodded in agreement. “Yes, we should look into this. I know a skilled private investigator. I’ll hire him to dig into it.”

Phoebe nodded. “Okay!” She then suggested, “Also check whether Edith and Sienna have the same exact birth time beyond just sharing the same day. It would be best to find out the precise time down to the minute. The analysis of a birth chart relied on the year, month, day, and time. Hence, a difference in seconds could affect the analysis. So, it was crucial to investigate further to make a better judgment.”
