When they got back, she wasn’t sure if she would end up taking the blame again. She felt utterly wronged. “Cain, I really fainted at the sight of blood last night. You’re not mad at me, are you?” She earnestly promised, “Once the show is over, I’ll definitely return your luck.” She figured she could just find an excuse to delay it when the time came. Cain was only half-convinced by her words, but there wasn’t much he could do. He couldn’t exactly force her to resolve it right now. So he nodded. “Alright, once the show is over, we’ll go find Master Flynn for help.”
Sienna instinctively moved to touch Cain’s waist, wanting to lean into his arms and act spoiled; however, because of everything happening online, Cain immediately took a few steps back. “Sienna, let’s keep some distance from now on. Otherwise, if something goes wrong, we’ll get torn apart online again.” Besides, he wasn’t sure if it was just a lingering grudge, but he found himself resisting Sienna’s closeness now.
