Nikki was consumed by fear. She had impulsively claimed responsibility that night out of greed, and now Adam had turned this into her biggest regret. Her life was ruined.

She looked at Liam, seeing him as her last hope. Despite his humble background, he was hardworking. Over the years, he had invested over a million dollars in her. Whenever her family needed help, Liam was always there. She knew she couldn't afford to lose him.

"I'm sorry, Liam," she sobbed, holding his hand. "It's all my fault. Please take me home. Let's live together."

But Liam pushed her away. "Nikki," he said, "now that you're facing ruin in Mercity, you finally recognize my worth? I've seen your true colors. Someone as greedy as you doesn't deserve my time." He left without hesitation.

"Liam, please don't leave!" she cried. "Don't forget I'm carrying your child!"

Liam looked at her belly. "The child is merely a means to an end for you," he replied. "You're not fit to be a mother. For the sake of the child, you should go to the hospital and get an abortion." He walked away.

Nikki had lost everything. Her dreams were shattered. She cried out, "No! You can't do this to me! What am I supposed to do now?"

Later, Celine, Hailey, and Robin left a restaurant.

"Celine," Hailey asked, "how do you think Nild's birthday celebration went?"

"Alvarez attended her party, and she's pregnant with his child," Robin replied. "She must have been thrilled."

"Mr. Alvarez is such a jerk!" Halley and Robin both cursed Adam under their breath.

Celine chuckled when a voice shouted from the street, "Stop! Don't run!" It was Nikki.

Suddenly, someone dashed toward Celine and collapsed at her feet. Celine looked down in shock. Nikki was disheveled and dirty, her hair unkempt, and covered in trash. A group of people pursued her, shouting, "Nikki, you liar! Stop running!"

"Nikki?" Hailey and Robin were shocked. Nikki had become a pariah. She hadn't anticipated falling in front of Celine while trying to escape. Her dignity lay shattered, leaving only humiliation and anguish. In that moment of despair, she remembered Celine's kindness during her difficult time at the Atlas Hotel, genuinely treating her as a friend.

Nikki stood up and ran away, yelling, "Stop following me!"

Hailey and Robin were stunned. "Celine, is that Nikki? What happened to her?" Celine wondered the same thing.

Back in their dorm, Celine and her friends turned on the TV. An entertainment channel announced, "Breaking news! Superstar Nikki Barnett is dating a bricklayer and is pregnant out of wedlock!"

The screen showed everything that happened after Liam arrived at the birthday party.

Halley jumped up. "Holy crap! Nikki has a boyfriend?"

"Wait," Robin said. "She's pregnant out of wedlock? It's not Mr. Alvarez's baby, but her boyfriend's?" Robin added, "I suspected something was off at her birthday, but I didn't expect this. Nikki actually has a boyfriend, and the baby is his."
