A relationship between two women is simple—it requires only sincerity. Unfortunately, Hailey and Carly seemed destined for incompatibility.

Adam left the bed, retrieved a warm towel from the bathroom, and gently placed it on Celine's injury. A warm compress would help. He then returned to bed. His phone buzzed with a message from Carly—a photo of sexy lingerie from a runway show.

"Do you like it?" Carly asked.

Since their reconciliation, Carly had become significantly more obedient and thoughtful, a stark contrast to her previous arrogance. He sensed she was trying to please him and advance their relationship. They were adults; some things didn't need to be explicitly stated.

Adam was about to reply when a warm body rolled into his arms. It was Celine. Hailey, sleeping on the inside, had pulled the blanket with her, leaving Celine cold. Celine had instinctively sought warmth.

Adam was paralyzed as Celine nestled under his blanket. Her head rested on his chest as she slept. He softly called her name.

"Celine? Celine!"

Celine mumbled sleepily, "It's too noisy. Stop making noise!"

Adam was speechless. Celine's hands grew restless, sliding under his shirt and touching his abdomen. "It's warm," she murmured. Her cold hands sought the warmth of his body.

Adam stopped her. What was she doing? Her touch ignited a fire within him. His body went numb. Since their separation, he'd been celibate. Even Carly's advances had failed to stir his interest. Yet, Celine's touch sent his blood rushing. He remembered their passionate past. He hadn't forgotten anything.

He was divorced from Celine; Carly was the woman he loved. Adam blinked rapidly, trying to suppress his desire. He wouldn't succumb to Celine's charms again. He would never have sex with her again.

Fortunately, Celine settled, sleeping soundly. Adam wanted to move her, but feared she'd cling tighter. He remained still, closing his eyes.

The next morning, Hailey awoke first. She sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes, and was stunned by the sight of Adam and Celine sleeping intertwined. Initially, she thought she was still dreaming, but after rubbing her eyes again, the reality hit her. It couldn't be right!

Hailey yanked the blanket off them and kicked Adam out of bed.
