"Despite being a genius, look at you now. You married Mr. Alvarez and became a housewife," Sonia began. "After the divorce, you've achieved nothing. Clearly, you don't compare to Tracy and Carly." She clasped Tracy and Carly's hands, beaming.

Celine was amused. "Dr. C increased your investment tenfold? Wow! That's impressive," she said.

Tracy remarked, "Don't be jealous, Celine. Dr. C is my boyfriend, and we're getting married soon."

Celine nodded. "Your investment has skyrocketed tenfold. But where's that tenfold return? Did Dr. C specify when he'll be transferring the funds?"

Sonia was stunned. "I still think he's lying," she muttered. "It appears he didn't clarify. Since the money wasn't in your possession, Dr. C can claim he multiplied it as much as he likes. You'd better watch out."

Tracy's anger flared. Her boyfriend, Dr. C, was her pride and joy. She wouldn't tolerate insults. "Celine, you're just jealous of me because I have a boyfriend like Dr. C." Carly added sarcastically, "Celine isn't just jealous of you; she's envious of me because I have Adam."

A rich voice interrupted. "What are you doing?"

Celine looked up. It was Adam.

Carly immediately grabbed his arm. "We were just talking to Celine. She was jealous of me and Tracy—Tracy has Dr. C, and I have you."

Celine was speechless. "Carly, you said that, not me."

Lucy intervened, saying, "There's no shame in feeling envious of Carly and Tracy. Don't feel embarrassed."

Celine found their perspective distorted. "I don't feel envious. I have a boyfriend too. I'm not shopping alone today; I'm with him."

Sonia quickly remembered. "Celine, you mentioned a very wealthy boyfriend. Why do you keep boasting? You're highly educated but unemployed. What makes you think a rich man would be interested in you?"

Tracy contemptuously remarked, "Celine, you only have a luxury car and house because of Mr. Alvarez's money. Eventually, you'll run out."

Celine smiled. "You're mistaken. The car and house are gifts from my boyfriend. I didn't use Mr. Alvarez's money. In fact, my boyfriend is as wealthy as Mr. Alvarez."

Carly scoffed, "Stop bragging, Celine. Who can compete with Adam in Mercity?"

Celine remained silent, smiling.

Adam gazed at Celine. "Since you mentioned your boyfriend, I'd love to meet him. Where is he?"

Lucy chimed in, "That's right. Since your boyfriend is so rich, we'd love to meet him."

Sonia suggested, "Let's stop her bragging and go buy some clothes."

Celine glared up as Perry's silhouette approached, having just finished a phone call. Her eyes surveyed the scene before breaking into a warm smile. "Since you're all so curious about my boyfriend, I'm happy to introduce him."

Celine gestured. Everyone turned to see Perry. Carly, Tracy, Sonia, and Lucy gasped. Carly called out, "Mr. Perry Marshall?"
