Chapter 215: None Shall Escape

"How dare you?" Tommy, enraged by Jared's condition, punched Falcon without hesitation. He no longer cared if he was a match for the man.

Falcon snorted, kicking Tommy out of the room. Walter, William, and the others glared, but none dared to intervene.

"Haha…" Falcon cackled maniacally, reveling in their fear. "No one here is my match! I am supreme and invincible! Master Erasmus, that brat absorbed the frosty energy from Renee, but her constitution remains unchanged. Frosty energy will reaccumulate. I am the only one who can cure her completely! "In your dreams!" Erasmus glared, furious. "Shameless! You flirted with Josephine, and now you demand Renee's hand? I'd rather she die than be ruined by you!"

Erasmus, outraged, intercepted Falcon.

Outmatched, Erasmus suffered a grievous injury; blood trickled from his mouth.

"Erasmus!" Leonidas cried, swinging his cane at Falcon.

Erasmus, despite his pain, joined Leonidas in attacking Falcon. Two against one, but Falcon sneered, unfazed.

"Run, Renee!" Erasmus shouted, intending to sacrifice himself to buy her time.

"Dad!" Renee wept, seeing his injuries.

"Go, Renee!" Walter grabbed her hand and fled. He wasn't afraid of death, but a non-martial artist would only die in vain.

William pulled Josephine along. "Let's go, Josephine!"

"No! I won't leave Jared!" Josephine cried. "I won't abandon him!"

Bang! Bang!

Falcon sent Leonidas and Erasmus flying, blocking the door. He sneered, "None of you are escaping! To live, you must please me!"

Walter, William, and the others recoiled. Unnoticed, minute cracks appeared on the ice encasing Jared. They grew larger.

Crack! Crack!

The cracking intensified, drawing everyone's attention.

"Look, Dad! The ice is cracking!" Josephine exclaimed joyfully.

Falcon's brow furrowed; his expression turned grave.

Clink! Clang! Clatter!

The ice shattered, revealing Jared.

Phew!

Jared opened his eyes, exhaling a white mist. His cultivation of frosty energy had propelled him from Level Five to Level Six. Attaining Level Six at Dragon Summit would have taken eons.
