Chapter 337: The Extermination

Tyrion, engrossed in his phone, didn't notice Jared enter his room until Jared snatched the phone. Jared then threw the phone to the ground.

Tyrion jumped at the sound. Seeing Jared, he attempted to scramble off the bed and flee, but fell, his crippled leg forgotten.

"J-Jared, h-how did you get in?" Tyrion stammered, fear evident in his voice.

Jared ignored him, his attention caught by a jade pendant on the bed. He approached the bed, picked up the pendantโ€”which radiated spiritual energyโ€”and pocketed it. He then turned to Tyrion.

"Jared, i-if you like the jade pendant, you can take it. A-And take anything you want. Youโ€™d better leave now, before my parents find you!"

Tyrion knew his only chance of survival was to get rid of Jared; he couldn't fight back.

"Your mom and dad?" Jared asked coldly. He then grabbed Tyrion and dragged him from the room.

Reaching the room where Yasmin was held captive, he tossed Tyrion aside. "Your parents are here. I'm feeling generous; you'll all die together!"

The sight of his parents' corpses left Tyrion speechless.

"Jared, please don't kill me! Please let me go! I'll do anything! I'll give you the entire Whitaker family! Please, have mercy!" Tyrion pleaded.

Jared, losing interest in tormenting him, lifted Tyrion with one hand and punched him with the other.

Bang!

Jared's fist pierced Tyrion's body instantly. Tyrion's eyes widened as he looked down at his chest in disbelief. His body slumped to the ground, blood pouring from the wound.

Jared cleaned himself up and set the mansion ablaze.

"Let's go," he said to Yasmin.

She nodded and tried to walk, but almost fell. Her legs felt like jelly after witnessing the carnage.

Jared picked her up. As he carried her to his car, Yasmin clung tightly to his neck, her heart racing. She blushed, but he remained indifferent.

Nestled against his chest, she felt safe and comfortable. A stolen glance at Jared intensified her blush. Something had shifted within her; she liked being carried by him, wishing she were his girlfriend instead of Josephine.

Jared remained oblivious to her thoughts. He sped back to Yeringham, Yasmin gazing at him with admiration throughout the journey.

Meanwhile, the Whitaker residence burned, reduced to ashes. The fire would change Summerbank, igniting a bloody battle. The unnecessary website plug has been removed.
