Chapter 367: On My Account

Master Iron frowned, amazed that Jared remained unaffected by his energy wave. He knew the force was formidable; most martial artists would struggle to withstand it. Jared's unfazed demeanor was unbelievable.

"You're quite something, young punk! Unfortunately, you're facing me today, so your fate is sealed!"

He gathered his energy, roared, and unleashed a terrifying wave at Jared. His disciples retreated again.

"Is that all you've got? If not, I'm leaving," Jared said disdainfully, starting to walk away.

Master Iron was stunned and humiliated. Being looked down upon by a young man in front of his disciples was unbearable. He couldn't afford to lose face.

"Die, brat!" He charged, shaking the ground, and threw a punch.

Jared stopped, and without turning, unleashed a powerful burst of energy, sending Master Iron tumbling backward, cracking the ground.

Master Iron stared in disbelief. He hadn't expected such prowess from Jared. He tried to advance but failed, his feet digging into the ground to maintain his balance.

"You like overpowering opponents with energy? Let me return the favor," Jared said coldly, turning to face him.

Suddenly, several cars screeched to a halt. Lizbeth leaped out, shouting, "Stop! Stop it!" Anthony and a group of Department of Justice investigators followed.

Seeing Lizbeth, Jared withdrew his energy to avoid harming her. Master Iron, instantly relieved of the pressure, stumbled.

"Are you alright, Jared?" Lizbeth asked anxiously.

"I'm fine. What brings you here?" he asked, puzzled.

"I woke up to find you and the Jantz men missing. I was worried you'd cause trouble, so I contacted General Long for help," Lizbeth said, scowling.

Jared felt apologetic. "I only returned the two men to the Jantz family. I didn't cause any trouble. Sorry to worry you."

"It's okay. The important thing is you're safe!" Lizbeth was relieved. Turning to Master Iron, she explained, "Master Iron, I saw Jared kill Jason. Jason attacked first; he even tried to attack me. Jared acted in self-defense. You shouldn't blame him!"

Master Iron glared. "Ms. Grange, out of respect for your grandfather, I won't make things difficult. However, stay out of this. I must kill him!" His eyes blazed with menace. [The sentence about searching a website is promotional material and should be removed.]

"Master Iron, as Lizbeth said, Jason started it. Jared wasn't at fault. I know losing a disciple is painful, but please let this go. I'll have him apologize!" Anthony interceded. His position usually ensured compliance.
