If anyone betrayed Fabian, he would kill the parasite in his jar, and the traitor would die. The parasite in the traitor's body and the one in Fabian's jar were linked; one's death meant the other's.

Everyone in the hall was shocked by the dead parasite.

"Jazona may have powerful martial artists, but I doubt any could kill Venicus. Could the Jantz family have reneged on the herb agreement? Perhaps they killed him after obtaining the pill?" someone guessed.

"Impossible. Mr. Quillen instructed Venicus not to produce the longevity pill until he received the herbs. Besides, the Jantz family wouldn't dare defy the Crescent Sect!" another objected.

A white-haired old man, frowning deeply, suggested, "Could it be the Herb Palace? It's their territory. As a legitimate organization, they've always looked down on sects like ours. Operating in their territory, we couldn't expect to be ignored."

"But we haven't provoked the Herb Palace. They've left us alone for years. And this isn't our first mission to Jazona. Why would they suddenly attack us?" someone questioned.

"Who knows what the Herb Palace thinks? Besides, who else in Jazona could kill Venicus? Those so-called Martial Arts Grandmasters? Barbarians!" the old man scoffed, his disdain obvious.

"Enough," Fabian said coldly. "Send someone to investigate. If it's the Herb Palace, we'll retaliate."

In Tayhaven Town stood a vast mansion—the Herb Palace—surrounded by hundreds of apothecaries. They didn't sell pills, only leftover herbs from the Palace, which were highly sought after in Summerbank.

The Herb Palace butler entered, presenting a revitalizing pill. "Many of these pills have appeared in Yeringham. I've had their ingredients, production method, and effects analyzed. It's a miracle pill!"

Spencer, the head of the Herb Palace, sipping tea, said, "Jeremy, you've produced pills your whole life. You've never called another's product a miracle pill. Tell me more."

"It strengthens the body, cures many diseases, and enhances male sexual performance," the butler explained. "It's more potent than our detoxification or bone-strengthening pills. Yet, the ingredients are common and inexpensive. We're still researching the production method. Producing it ourselves would be incredibly profitable!"

Spencer's eyes widened. "Such a pill exists in Jazona? Find out who's making it!"

"Right away, sir!"

As the butler turned to leave, Spencer stopped him. "Are the herbs ready for the Jantz family? If so, tell them to pay."

"But we're short on herbs ourselves! Why sell to the Jantz family?" the butler asked, confused.

Spencer waved him away. "The Jantz family has connections in Jadeborough. These are instructions from above."
