"If I were you, I'd give her a good beating! A few tight slaps! She's so cheap! There are so many men in Greyport. Why seduce Bruce? She's the biggest slut in Greyport!" Ingrid's words grew harsher, her face reddening.

Shaun sighed. "Don't use such language! I've told you, Mr. Everett doesn't love Roxy."

"You and Roxanne clung to Mr. Everett. Now everyone's laughing at us! How will Roxy face them?"

Ingrid stamped her foot. "Roxy feels terrible enough! You're saying this? I don't know if you love your daughter!"

Roxanne cried, covering her face.

"Stop crying! You only cry! You deserve to be dumped!" Ingrid continued. "Back then, I was Greyport's most beautiful woman! I had suitors lined up! Why aren't you like me?"

Shaun retorted, "Let's not talk about your past! Don't make Roxy more miserable. She's been pampered. What has she learned from you?"

"I'll abort the child tomorrow!"

Ingrid was exasperated. "No! This child must be born!"

"What's the point? He's confessed his love to Joanna! Why have the baby?"

"Are you stupid? It's an Everett! The child will inherit assets, enough for you to live comfortably!"

Roxanne cried, "Mom, what should we do?"

"Find him. You're pregnant! He won't dare do anything to you!"

Ingrid raged, "Let's go to the hospital and find that bitch, Joanna Haynes!"

Shaun, still loving Roxanne, accompanied them to the hospital.

At the hospital, at the nurse's reception desk:

A nurse politely asked, "Sir, who are you looking for?"

"I'm Shaun Haynes"

Ingrid interrupted, looking arrogant. "We're looking for that damn bitch, Joanna Haynes!"

The nurses looked shocked.

Ingrid sneered, "This is Joanna Haynes's father. Can't he visit his daughter?" Her voice was sharp and shrill.

"Madam, this is a hospital. Please don't make a scene!"

"Move! Let's see who dares stop me!"

"You can't go into the ward. This is a VIP ward" Nurses tried to stop her.

Ingrid shoved Roxanne forward. "My daughter is pregnant with Mr. Everett's child. If you touch her and cause a miscarriage, can you bear the consequences?"

"Mr. Haynes, Mrs. Haynes, you really can't enter!"

"Let's go!"

Ignoring them, Ingrid and Shaun barged into Joanna's ward. The nurses, afraid of Roxanne, could only watch. Bodyguards guarding the door knew Roxanne and didn't stop them.

Bang! The door slammed open. Shaun and Ingrid stormed in. Joanna and the servants were shocked.

"What are you doing?"

Ingrid started cursing, "Joanna, you damn bitch! How dare you ask? Don't you know what you've done?"

Joanna's face darkened.

Shaun said, "Joanna, I'm not here to scold you, but why are you creating these problems?"

Joanna felt helpless. She knew this was about the fireworks display, but she didn't know about Bruce's surprise, nor did she ask him to do it. The Haynes family targeted Joanna, knowing she was vulnerable. Roxanne cried, looking at Joanna with tears. "Joanna, please take pity on me"

"I know you're in pain, but I'm in more pain! I'm pregnant with Bruce's child. If he dumps me, what will happen to me and the baby?" Ingrid shrieked. "Roxy, don't talk to her. She's heartless. It's useless to beg her!"

Joanna took a deep breath. "I don't want to talk to you. If you have anything to say, find Bruce!"

Ingrid mocked, "Oh gosh! You shift the blame! You know we can't offend Mr. Everett, so you blame him! We're not looking for Mr. Everett, we're looking for you, you slut! Why cling to your sister's boyfriend? You're like your mother, both sluts!"

Joanna trembled with rage. "Ingrid Haynes, watch your mouth!"

"Haha! I'm going all out! You need a scolding, you damn bitch! Shameless, bitchy vixen! A slut who seduces her brother-in-law!"

Ms. Chain and Nancy tried to intervene. "Please leave! We'll call the police!"

"Report! Quickly! Let the police expose this bitch!"

Shaun's face darkened. He looked at Joanna with hatred. "Joanna, I'll say something fair! You're the older sister, you should give in. Besides, Bruce is Roxy's boyfriend! You seduced your brother-in-law six years ago. Roxy was so angry she was hospitalized! Now they've reconciled, why get involved? If Roxy wasn't pregnant, I wouldn't say anything! Joanna was heartbroken. She looked at Shaun coldly. "I don't want to talk to you! Get out!"
