That was Joe.

Without a second thought, Natalie dashed forward and grabbed Ned’s arm. She feared she might be mistaken, but couldn't let him slip away. Ned frowned, yanking his arm free. Rosa, beside him, glanced at Natalie and said, "You've got the wrong person."

"I'm not mistaken. He is Joe Martin. Wait, don't go! Skylar is back in Jipsburg City. I'll have her come over." Natalie trusted her own eyes. This man was definitely Joe.

"Ned, do you know her? And who is this Skylar she mentioned?" Rosa asked, curious.

"I don't know her." Ned's brow raised slightly at the mention of Skylar, then his expression returned to indifference.

Natalie was stunned. He didn't recognize her. In that moment of shock, Ned and Rosa left the café. By the time she recovered and rushed outside, they had vanished.

Realizing what had happened, Natalie hurried back inside and called to Andrea, "Help me check the surveillance footage from just now." Then she quickly called Skylar.

Skylar, about to sleep, answered immediately. "Skylar, I just saw Joe! No, wait, I can't be sure. You need to come to my café, or… I'll just send you the video clip."

Natalie spoke rapidly, overwhelmed. She initially wanted Skylar to come, but considering the late hour, she changed her mind. However, Skylar replied, "I'm on my way," before hanging up.

Natalie stared at her phone, feeling a sudden realization. She slapped her face, trying to shake off the shock. There was no way she was mistaken. The man looked identical to Joe, but his demeanor was unfamiliar. And then there was that woman. She'd been too shocked to notice her earlier. If that man was Joe, she wondered why the woman called him "Ned."

Within minutes, Andrea showed her the footage. It displayed the man and woman arriving and leaving within three to five minutes. The café's high-definition cameras, one positioned at the entrance, clearly captured the man's face.

"Natalie, who is that guy? He isn't your ex-boyfriend, is he?" Andrea asked, noticing her intense focus.

Natalie's lips twitched. "What are you talking about? I don't have an ex-boyfriend."

That man was Skylar's husband, missing for three years. Still, she felt uncertain. She couldn't definitively say it was Joe. Just as she was lost in thought, crew members began to arrive.

They quickly set up lights, cameras, and equipment. An assistant director approached, asking if she had memorized her lines for her cameo. After regularly rehearsing with Austin and witnessing numerous performances, memorizing a few lines was a minor task.

After finishing her conversation, she sent a voice message to Skylar: "Skye, the crew has arrived. You might have to wait a bit." As she sent it, a crowd entered.
