Chapter 511

Jeremy ignored Andrew, who, despite his bravado, lacked the authority to touch him. Jeremy decided to give Natalie some space, planning a serious conversation once she calmed down. Later, he saw Andrew's Instagram post mocking Skylar. He immediately messaged Andrew: "Delete that post! Skylar is not someone you can mock or fantasize about. Don't cause trouble."

Andrew ignored the message. He thought, "Trouble? Because her husband's a detective? So what? If he couldn't keep his wife, why blame others? Besides, no woman can resist money." He hadn't seen Skylar at events before; she seemed to come from an ordinary family. A fling with him would be a jackpot for her, he thought, admiring her name and beauty. After more drinks, he chatted with his companions and left the private room.

Meanwhile, Skylar and Natalie finished their meal. Natalie updated Skylar on her divorce. "I'm worried my parents will be angry and disagree," Natalie said, sighing. "Jeremy knows me too well. I don't want to ruin our families' relationship." Skylar's cheeks were flushed, a hint of worry in her eyes. She empathized with Natalie, saying, "Believe in yourself. Nothing can defeat you. The Natalie I know is brave and resilient."

"You're right! Things I never thought would happen, have," Natalie replied. "When the time comes, everything will fall into place. I'm not going to worry anymore." She shook her head, dismissing her troubles. "After all, he's just a man. It's not a big deal."

Andrew approached, keys to his flashy sports car jingling. "Since we've met, let's hang out. Tonight, some friends and I are taking our sports cars for a spin. Join us!" Natalie, seeing his leering gaze towards Skylar, was furious. "Andrew, are you insane? Just because you have keys, you think you can pursue Skylar?" she exclaimed. She thought, "What's wrong with him? All the Hughes men must be mentally ill! Can't they live without chasing women?" Skylar gave Andrew a cold glance.

"Natalie, don't be shameless," Andrew retorted. "Just because Jeremy protects you doesn't mean you can ignore me." Fueled by alcohol, his emotions ran high. He boasted he could sleep with any woman, married or otherwise. He then turned to Skylar: "Hey, gorgeous. How about one million dollars to ride in my sports car? Your husband doesn't make that in ten years, right? Don't let Natalie stop your financial success!"

His arrogant, entitled attitude was typical of a wealthy trust-fund baby. Natalie fumed, "Andrew, are you out of your mind?"

"I'm not interested," Skylar coldly rejected.

Several people, Andrew's friends, entered from the private room, having heard about the fondue restaurant online. They spotted Skylar and, with one pointing at her, said, "Today, for Mr. Hughes's sake, you'd better listen to us!"
