Chapter 512
Andrew, embarrassed by his friends' presence, insisted, "Did you hear me? You must ride my car today!" He was determined to impress Skylar.
Natalie fumed. "Andrew, take your friends and leave. Don't think a few measly dollars can buy people's compliance. Skylar doesn't need money."
"If I refuse, what will you do?" Skylar rubbed her wrist, the memory of fighting fresh in her mind. She considered how to defend herself perfectly.
Seeing Skylar's slender frame, Andrew chuckled. "What do you say?"
"Mr. Hughes, we're here to help you," several men interjected. They seemed intoxicated, their boldness fueled by Andrew's family status. They were determined to confront Skylar, regardless of location or onlookers.
Nearby diners gasped at the unfolding scene. "What are you doing? Don't disturb the ladies!" someone intervened.
Several men surrounded the women, prompting other patrons to intervene. The restaurant proprietress rushed over, demanding, "What's going on?"
Annoyed by the interference, Andrew snapped, "Get lost! It's none of your business. We know each other."
One of Andrew's friends retorted, "Yeah, why do people always meddle? Do we look like bullies?"
One man reached for Skylar, attempting to pull her away.

Just as his hand neared Skylar, a horrifying scream pierced the air. Everyone froze. Skylar, holding a fork, had stabbed the man's arm.
Natalie blinked, remembering Skylar's fighting skills. "Nath, call the police," Skylar calmly instructed. Calling the police was the only solution; the men were clearly intoxicated and acting irrationally.
"I already called. The station's next door; they'll be here any minute," a young woman announced.
Skylar smiled, thanking her.
Meanwhile, Joe's demeanor chilled upon seeing Rowan's screenshots. Even Paul, sitting beside him, felt the cold and shivered, needing his down jacket.
"Mr. Martin, is something wrong?" Paul asked nervously.
"Andrew's asking for trouble," Joe replied icily.
"Andrew?" Paul's confusion was evident.
