Sienna smiled softly and gently patted Liam's head. Liam was so well-mannered, and she could already see a hint of Nora in his features.

"Thank you, Liam. I'm Sienna Hart, your godmother. This is a present from me. I hope you like it," Sienna said.

Liam accepted the gift from her with both hands, looking very respectful. "Thank you, godmother. I really like it, and I'll make sure to keep it safe. Godmother, even though I'm only five, I often study and read books, and I can have simple conversations in Avalorish."

"You're amazing, Liam," Sienna said, feeling that Liam was a stark contrast to his mother.

When Sienna’s gaze swept over, Nora felt a little embarrassed and guilty, quickly looking away. While having such an outstanding son was a good thing, sometimes she felt that his brilliance only highlighted her own shortcomings.

Sienna couldn’t help but think about the past. No matter how hard Nora tried, she couldn’t master Avalorish. Her parents had gotten so frustrated that they sent her abroad, hoping she’d finally pick it up.

But Nora didn't even speak a word for a whole month. She relied solely on hand gestures to get by.

In the end, she could only manage a few simple phrases, and Sienna wondered if Nora still remembered them.

"Alright, alright, Liam, go play for a bit. This is grown-up territory now—kids to the sidelines!" Sienna said with a playful wave.

Liam knew he shouldn’t interrupt, but he still mustered up the courage to speak his mind. "Godmother, could I borrow a little of your time later? I really want to ask you a few questions. After all, you're Miss Enna."

"Of course you can, little guy. Aren't you a little too grown-up for your age?" Sienna replied with a smile, unable to believe that he was only five years old.

"Godmother, it's not that I'm too mature. I just love learning new things and broadening my horizons. Godmother, Mom, I leave you two to talk," Liam said, giving a polite wave before heading off.

Nora finally breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, the world is finally quiet again. Sienna, don't mind him—he just talks a little too much. No need to take him so seriously."

"I really like your son," Sienna said with a smile.

Due to the ongoing divorce, none of the Sinclair family members showed up. Ethan’s status in the Preston family had been quite unstable, but ever since he took control of Preston Corporation, no one dared to look down on or underestimate him.

Ethan’s mother, Ashley Preston, grumbled angrily, “Wayne is just outrageous. He beat up my son like this. And Nora, why didn’t she stop her brother? She just stood there and watched Ethan get beaten up. I bet it was all Nora’s idea!”

Ashley saw Sienna and Nora approaching, completely ignoring Nora and greeting Sienna instead. “Sienna, it’s been ages! We all thought you were gone for good. Now that you’re back, it’s really wonderful!”

Sienna’s smile was distant, her eyes cold and empty. “Long time no see. Thanks for your concern.”

“By the way, I haven’t seen your father. He and I used to be classmates,” Ashley added.

Sienna replied, “My father isn’t seeing visitors at the moment.”

“Alright, that’s fine,” Ashley said.

“Miss Enna,” Ethan called out, quickly making his way over when he saw his mother talking with Sienna.

Ashley felt that calling her “Miss Enna” was too formal and distant, so she smiled and said, “Ethan, what’s with that? Sienna is your friend, and Liam's godmother. You can call her Enna, right, Sienna?”

Ethan frowned, giving his mother a look to tell her to stop. With his current situation, it really wasn’t appropriate to call her Enna—especially with so many important people present today.

With Sienna's current status, no one would dare to cross the line with her.

Sienna was never the type to care about what others thought. “I don’t think it’s distant at all. You’re overthinking it," she replied.

Ashley gave a stiff smile, about to speak, when Nora grabbed Sienna’s arm and started to pull her away. Ashley snapped, “Nora, what are you doing? Sienna came here to see Liam. They have business to discuss. Why are you sticking your nose in!"

“And your brother beat your husband up like this, and you didn’t even make him apologize. Now you’re throwing a tantrum about a divorce! Nora, you’re a mother now—act like it. How can I trust you with Liam?"

“Mom, please shut up,” Ethan said harshly.

Ashley felt a pang of hurt, seeing how her son always sided with Nora and seemed indifferent to her.

“Ethan, I’m only doing this for your own good. Look at your face—it’s ruined! I bet Nora is seeing someone else, and that’s why she let her brother beat you up. She wants a divorce to be with her lover!” Ashley said.

Ethan was furious. He tried to grab Nora’s hand to explain, but she shook him off without even looking at him.

Sienna thought, “People’s hearts are really unpredictable. Back then, Ashley loved Nora so much, but just a few years later, look at this..."

Nora sneered, “It was your son who cheated, and now you’re blaming me? The whole thing is online—why don’t you take a look yourself!”

Ashley knew about her son’s affair with the secretary. Honestly, she liked that girl more than Nora—always bringing her little gifts, unlike Nora, who was rude.

“You know, it takes two to make a mess. Nora, have you ever looked at yourself? You look like some frumpy housewife now. No wonder my son never wants to come home,” Ashley said.

Smack! The crisp sound of a slap cut through the living room, freezing everyone in place for a second—then the chaos started right back up.

Nora stood there, staring at Ashley on the floor, stunned.

Sienna calmly wiped her hand with a handkerchief. “Mrs. Preston, I just ran a little test for you. It only takes one person to make a mess.”

Ashley was completely stunned by the slap, unable to believe Sienna had actually hit her.

“Sienna Hart, how dare you hit me! No matter what, I’m still your elder! Even if you’re the CEO of Han Corporation now, you don’t have the right to slap me!"

Ethan thought Sienna had really crossed the line this time. Sure, his mother could be illogical and reckless with her words, but that didn’t mean Sienna should slap her in front of everyone.

Ethan looked at Nora, who remained silent, her face showing a sense of relief.

Sienna coldly replied, “I only recognize elders I respect. Your son cheated, and you didn’t even correct him. Instead, you’re blaming Nora. She’s not your punching bag just because she married into your family."

“You need to understand your place—don’t get too arrogant. One wrong step, and you’ll fall from grace and regret it forever.”
