Chapter 211

With a simple white shirt, his gentle, flirtatious eyes glimmered. โ€œWant to grab dinner with me?โ€

Though he looked calm, she could sense his nerves underneath. She guessed his hand behind his back was clenched, and there was a trace of careful hope in his eyes.

โ€œYeah, sure,โ€ she replied.

Wayneโ€™s eyes lit up with excitement. โ€œReally?โ€

Sienna raised an eyebrow, teasing him back. โ€œWhy wouldnโ€™t I?โ€

Wayne was so thrilled that he stumbled over his words and fumbled with the car door. โ€œSienna, please, get in.โ€ He opened the door for her, and Sienna gave Reno a look, signaling him to leave first. Reno nodded and stepped back.

โ€œMiss Enna really is the center of attention wherever she goes,โ€ Reno thought.

He couldnโ€™t help but think that Wayne and Sienna were a perfect match. They were childhood sweethearts, and the chemistry between them was undeniable. Reno was totally shipping them.

Once they were in the car, Wayne quickly grabbed a bouquet of pink roses studded with gold from the back seat. โ€œSienna, I hope you like these.โ€

Sienna took it and gave him a knowing smile. โ€œThank you, I like them. This isโ€ฆโ€

Wayne hurried to explain, โ€œSienna, I saw youโ€™re wearing a Junova watch. They just released a narcissus blue bracelet under their brand, and I thought it would suit you perfectly. I wasnโ€™t sure if youโ€™d like it.โ€

His heart was thundering in his chest as he looked at her, full of anticipation.

Itโ€™s just a little thing, only ten million dollarsโ€ฆ I wonder if sheโ€™ll think itโ€™s too much, he thought nervously.

Sienna gently picked up the bracelet. The blue bracelet shimmered in her hand like flowing light, absolutely gorgeous. Tiny narcissus flowers were delicately engraved inside, and the soft pink-blue hue gave it a magical, fairy-like aura.

โ€œI really love it, thank you. But itโ€™s way too expensive. How am I supposed to return the favor?โ€ she asked with a playful tilt of her head.

Wayne finally let out a breath heโ€™d been holding, his heart settling down. He smiled, gentle as a spring breeze. โ€œJust have dinner with me. Thatโ€™s all the thanks I want, okay?โ€

Sienna shot him a charming smile, her eyes sparkling with starlight. She looked so dazzling and elegant, as if she was glowing from the inside out. For a moment, Wayneโ€™s gaze locked onto her, and the whole world seemed to fade awayโ€”she was the only one in his world.

โ€œA diner worth tens of millions! Youโ€™re losing out here,โ€ she teased.

Wayneโ€™s eyes reflected only her, and a hint of a smile played on his dark red lips. โ€œActually, Iโ€™m the lucky one here. Having a fairy like you keep company with an ordinary guy like me. Thatโ€™s the best thing thatโ€™s ever happened to me.โ€

โ€œHow do you like the food?โ€ Wayne asked softly, his heart pounding as he waited for her answer.

Sienna took a few bites and said, โ€œItโ€™s really good. Is this restaurant yours?โ€

โ€œYeah, business is alright. Sienna, I know you donโ€™t like beating around the bush or any drama, but I really like you. Even though you spared my pride with your gentle rejection, Iโ€™m not giving up. I want to win you over,โ€ he said, his voice steady and sincere.

He'd opened this restaurant when he earned his first three million dollars, designing the whole menu around her favorite dishesโ€”hoping that one day, sheโ€™d come here and never have to worry about what to order.

Maybe her tastes would change someday, but he could always update the menu. Besides, he had his silly little "stater" to help him keep tabs on her preferencesโ€”a few hundred knacks, she thought.
