Chapter 232

When Winifred got home, she saw Vivian and Sienna sprawled on the couch watching TV. She dropped her backpack and had just sat down when Vivian immediately noticed her.

The two shot each other a look, then quickly looked away, pretending they were total strangers.

“Winifred, Ms. Green told me you’ve got real talent. If you win this competition, you’ll get a chance to study at Frandell’s art university for a year. Do you want to go?” Sienna asked.

To Sienna, whether Winifred won the competition or not didn’t really matter. If Winifred wanted to go, all it would take was a word from her.

“Sienna, do you want me to go?” Winifred asked.

Winifred knew that Frandell’s art university was one of the top schools in the world, and so many world-famous artists had come from there. But if Winifred went, she wouldn’t get to see Vivian anymore.

Winifred really didn’t want to go. Sienna noticed the sadness in her eyes, sat down beside her, and brushed the hair from her forehead.

“If you don’t want to go, then don’t. I’ll find you a tutor,” Sienna said.

Winifred hugged her arm tightly and leaned her head on Sienna’s shoulder. “Okay?”

When Amber got home, she saw Vivian pouting and asked irritably, “Why are you back so early?”

Vivian shot her a look. “I come back whenever I feel like it.”

Amber snorted and walked over to Sienna. “Sienna, my class is having a parent-teacher conference tomorrow morning. Can you come with me?"

“Of course,” Sienna replied.

Amber happily hugged her arm and shook it. “Sienna, can I sleep in your room tonight?”

“Sure,” Sienna nodded.

Vivian and Winifred both shot Amber sharp looks. “She’s so shameless,” they both thought.

Sienna still had some work to do, so she went to the study to take care of it. Amber happily carried her pillow into Sienna’s room. There was one on the bed.

Thinking Sienna had finished her work and was already in bed, Amber dove onto the bed.

“Sienna?” Amber called out. But as soon as she got close, she realized something was off. She looked up and saw that it was Winifred.

Amber shot up like she’d been electrocuted. “Why is it you? Why are you here?”

Amber thought, “I’m supposed to be sleeping with Sienna tonight. What is she doing here!”

“Who let you in? Get out, now,” Amber snapped.

Winifred didn’t care, just turned over and said, “Stop yelling. Sienna doesn’t just let you alone sleep here, you know. And this isn’t your room anyway. I’ll come in if I want. If you don’t want to sleep here, then get lost, Amber."

Amber glared at Winifred, furious.

Winifred really was the absolute worst, even worse than Vivian.

“You’re so noisy,” Winifred said impatiently.

“If you know that, then you shouldn’t even be here. Winifred, you’re so rude. Tonight’s supposed to be just me and Sienna. I was going to tell her a story,” Amber huffed. She even brought a storybook with her.

Winifred smirked. “You? Telling a story! Please, you sound just like a quacking duck, and you still have the guts to tell a story?”

Amber clenched her fists. “Winifred, you’re so bad at talking, you might as well donate your mouth to someone who needs it!”

Winifred kept scrolling through her phone. “At least I sound better than your duck mouth.”

“Winifred, you really think I’m scared of you? Bring it on,” Amber shot back.

With that, Amber pounced on Winifred, pinning her down like a mountain crashing down. Winifred was stunned for a second, overwhelmed by the sudden weight.

“Amber, you idiot, get your butt off me,” Winifred yelled.

Amber planted herself firmly on top of her, and Winifred thought, “What on earth has she been eating? Why is she so heavy?”

"Winifred, serves you right for picking on me,” Amber huffed. She burst out laughing and gave her a hard smack on the butt.

Winifred’s face instantly flushed red with a mix of shame and fury. She’d never been spanked like that in her whole life. “Amber, you’re dead meat,” Winifred shouted.
