Chapter 256
Winifred was quickly sent back to the hospital, and as Sienna saw that her vital signs were stable, the murderous rage in her eyes finally faded a little.
โEnna, get that wound looked at, okay? Please, for me? Your back is covered in blood.โ Nora followed behind Sienna, her heart aching as tears kept streaming down her cheeks.
Nora wanted to reach out and help, but was afraid of hurting Sienna even more.
โIโm all right. Nora, can you stay with Winifred for me? I need to handle something. Iโm fine. It doesnโt even hurt. Donโt cry,โ Sienna comforted her, gently wiping away the tears at the corner of Noraโs eyes.
Nora sniffled and said firmly, โEnna, donโt worry. Leave everything here to me, okay?โ
Even though Nora was worried sick about Siennaโs injuries, she knew all too well that once Sienna made up her mind, there was no changing it.
Sylvie and Iris were flung down in front of Sienna. Reno dumped a bucket of ice-cold water over them, jolting them awake. The agony from their broken bones hit them instantlyโso sharp and deep it was almost unbearable.
Sylvie cried out, โIt hurts! It hurts so much! My leg, my leg is broken!โ
Seeing Iris lying next to her, also with a broken leg, Sylvieโs eyes went wide in shock. โIris, wake up!โ
It was only then that Sylvie noticed Sienna. She wore a hospital gown, but nothing could hide the overwhelming, oppressive aura radiating from her. Her eyes were icy cold, completely emotionlessโlike she could freeze someone solid with just a glance.
Siennaโs hair slid smoothly over her shoulder as she leaned to the side, a cigarette clamped between her teeth.
โWho are you? Do you even know who we are? How dare you kidnap us? Iโm a Grant daughterโAh! My leg!โ Sylvie screamed.
Before Sylvie could finish, someone kicked her broken leg hard. The pain shot through her. She thought she was going to die. Tears flooded her eyes as she doubled over, sobbing and gasping for air.
โMy leg! It hurts so bad!โ she wailed.
Iris, still dazed, finally woke up and met Siennaโs icy gaze. She started shaking all over, terrified. โSienna, you actually broke my leg.โ
Iris couldnโt believe her leg was truly brokenโshattered beyond repair. She was finished. A cripple, just like that.
โSylvie, are you okay?โ Iris cried out, her voice trembling with fear. โSienna, whatever it is, come at me. Just leave my family out of this.โ
Sienna didnโt bother to reply. With a cold, superior gaze that treated them like two ants under her heel, she stubbed out her cigarette, then slowly stood up. Without a word, she grabbed Iris by the hair and dragged her straight to the edgeโthen tossed her right into the giant pit crawling with snakes.
โNo! Snakes. Somebody help me. Please!โ Iris screamed, her voice breaking with terror.
Iris begged desperately, โSienna, please! Let me go. I know I was wrong. Please, have mercy!
โI wonโt do it again. I swear, I wonโt. Please, Iโm begging you. Let me out!โ
Irisโs screams just kept coming, echoing through the air as one venomous snake after another wrapped itself around her, slithering tighter and tighter. Sylvie was so terrified by the sight that she passed out cold on the spot.
Reno and the bodyguards kept their heads down, not daring to make a sound. Deep down, they were all in awe of Miss Ennaโthey knew exactly what happened to anyone who crossed her. With her, you didnโt even get a second to beg for forgiveness.
Overnight, the Grant family went from rich and powerful to utterly destroyed. Mr. Grant ended up dead, and Mrs. Grant lost her mind, and their two daughters disappeared without a trace. Some said they ran off overseas to escape the mess, while others whispered theyโd been dumped in some godforsaken foreign backwater after daring to cross Sienna Hart.
