Chapter 264

Sienna Hart felt like this wasnโ€™t real, almost convinced she was hallucinating. She dug her nails deep into her palm, the sharp pain finally snapping her back to reality.

Siennaโ€™s heart skipped a beat. She never imagined their reunion would be like this, a mix of disbelief and irony swirling inside her.

โ€œTwenty million. Him! Iโ€™m bidding on him,โ€ she declared this ten years ago.

At her bid, no one else bothered to raise the price. Who would really pay more for these people? They were just here to scratch some sick itch.

โ€œLana Yost, tell them to bring the person to my room,โ€ Sienna instructed, stepping into the elevator โ€“ she needed to take care of the Black Horse situation first.

Black Horse was lurking by the roadside, waiting for Sienna Hart to show up. But he never expected Sienna to come after him to settle the score. Before he could even say a word, someone pressed a gun to his head and marched him into a dark room.

The room was shrouded in darkness, with only fragments of moonlight scattered across the floor. Sienna hid herself in the shadows, her figure barely discernible.

Lana landed a sharp kick to Black Horseโ€™s leg, forcing him to his knees. His face twisted in pain and anger. โ€œWho are you? What do you wantโ€“money, or something else?โ€

Sienna spoke in a cool, detached tone, โ€œWerenโ€™t you waiting for me outside? The windโ€™s biting out on the street. I was just being nice. Why are you upset?โ€

Black Horseโ€™s expression froze. He realized she was the one from the private room.

Black Horse gritted out. โ€œWhat exactly do you want?โ€

Instead of coming closer, Sienna turned to face the window. โ€œBlack Horse, I know who you are. Killing you would just dirty my hands. So do yourself a favorโ€“tell me who told you about the island.โ€

โ€œWho are you?โ€ Black Horse muttered, a chill running down his spine.

โ€œYouโ€™re too noisy,โ€ Sienna said impatiently, waving her hand. Lana immediately got the message, pulled out a knife, and stabbed it hard into Black Horseโ€™s palm.

โ€œAh! My hand!โ€ Black Horse screamed.

Lana leaned in, her voice cold and unyielding. โ€œIf you still donโ€™t talk, you can say goodbye to that hand.โ€

Realizing heโ€™d messed up with someone he shouldnโ€™t have, Black Horse quickly lowered himself, desperation in his voice. โ€œThree months ago, someone approached meโ€ฆโ€

Sienna instantly knew who it was. โ€œWow, I barely left and sheโ€™s already making her move. I want her in front of me by tomorrow night.โ€

โ€œAs you wish,โ€ Lana replied.

Meanwhile, Finn Eaton found himself lying on a bed. He pushed himself up, disoriented. He vaguely remembered being betrayed by his most trusted subordinate, who had poisoned him.

Finn rubbed his temples, feeling a strange heat coursing through his body. He got out of bed and walked to the window. He was still in Pyreson, in the hotel of the regionโ€™s largest underground auction house. He didnโ€™t know how he ended up here.

Without wasting another second, he started searching for his personal belongings. He found nothing, then opened the door and stepped out. No one was guarding.

As soon as he got downstairs, he ran right into the people who were looking for him. Finn bolted, making a dash for the elevator. Getting down was easy, but getting upstairs required a key cardโ€“and he didnโ€™t have one.

โ€œMr. Eaton, come with us,โ€ the leader said coldly, giving him a hard, icy stare.

Finn didnโ€™t even spare him a glance. โ€œDonโ€™t even think about it. Go back and tell himโ€“Iโ€™m going to get to the bottom of this, no matter what.โ€

Chapter 261

โ€œMr. Eaton, no need to argue with us. Youโ€™ll know once you get there. Stop wasting time, bring him over here."
