Chapter 100: Escorted Yvette Out

When store staff examined the card, they immediately contacted security, who forcibly escorted Yvette from the premises. The store manager then personally assisted Vivian.

Emerging from the store with her chosen clothes, Vivian wore a bewildered expression. "Doesn't The Ivory Idea store have any VIPs?" she asked.

Cecilia calmly explained, "In Erihal, I met a designer from The Ivory Idea who liked my music and gave me this card. He said it was like being a store manager, but I'd never used it until now."

Vivian hugged Cecilia's arm, her admiration evident. "Wow, you're amazing, Ms. Cecille! From now on, I'm sticking with you."

Cecilia chuckled, patting her head. "You're so sweet!"

The two chatted and laughed as they walked. Before going home, Cecilia bought clothes for Jonathan and Elliot. Vivian would deliver Jonathan's; Elliot's would be sent via international express.

"I saw so many beautiful dresses," Vivian sighed. "Wouldn't it be wonderful if Jonathan were a girl?"

Cecilia, too, wished for a daughter.

That afternoon, Cecilia video-called Elliot, showing him his new clothes. Though pale in his hospital bed, he smiled. "Mommy, you're the best! Mwah!"

"Mwah!" Cecilia's eyes softened. Despite his weariness, Elliot wanted to chat longer. "Mommy, do you love me?"

"Of course," Cecilia replied.

Unlike his serious brother, Elliot was affectionate and endearing. "Once you're back, I want a real kiss. I'll wear the new clothes for youโ€”you can take pictures!"

"All right. I'll be back as soon as possible."

Concerned about Elliot's condition, Cecilia spoke with Martha before ending the call. Later, reviewing photos of Jonathan and Elliot, a wave of melancholy washed over her. She felt she owed Elliot the greatest apology. Her past illness and medication had necessitated his stay in an incubator after birth, resulting in him spending more time in the hospital than at home.

Yet, he remained exceptionally optimistic, never shedding a tear during treatments or injections. His happiness bloomed with each tender kiss to his forehead; he'd even comfort her, saying, "As long as I have your kisses, I'm not afraid of anything."

Cecilia repeatedly gazed at their photos, grateful for her sons. Unknown to her, Nathaniel was already planning to bring Elliot home from abroad.

Meanwhile, at Polaris Condominium, Yvette recounted the day's events to Stella. "I heard The Ivory Idea membership is for top brass only. How could Cecilia have one?" Stella wondered.

Yvette sneered, "Perhaps she slept with an executive."

Stella took a sip of water. "Yvie, don't be upset. It's just clothing. My personal designer can make you anything you like."

"It's not about the clothes," Yvette insisted indignantly. "It's that deaf woman Cecilia taking advantage! Just because you accepted their family's help doesn't mean she can ask anything! I couldn't stand it anymore."

From Stella's perspective, Cecilia was a woman who would stop at nothing to get what she wanted.
