Chapter 251: The Revelations

At ten o'clock, the film production launch ceremony officially commenced. Meanwhile, Cecilia, already on a plane per Calvin's instructions, missed the spectacle.

At the film set, the director, who privately disliked Stella's lack of acting ability, was nonetheless compelled to tolerate her presence for financial reasons. The ceremony, intended to be hosted by the director, instead revolved around Stella, who delivered the opening remarks in a tailored suit, her gaze frequently drifting to Nathaniel. She remained oblivious to Sean approaching with a large bouquet of flowers.

Sean, also in a suit, observed Stella, the former adoration in his eyes now absent. Only when he was ten meters away did she notice him, immediately scanning for her bodyguardโ€”who had already been incapacitated by Calvin's men.

As the crowd watched in confusion, Sean mounted the stage. "Hello everyone, I am Stella's ex-boyfriend." An uproar erupted. Nathaniel moved to intervene, but Calvin stopped him. "Mr. Rainsworth, what's the rush? Don't you find this person familiar?"

Nathaniel's gaze shifted to Sean, recognition dawning. He remembered the man who had run down Cecilia. He signaled his bodyguard not to interfere.

Stella's face paled. "Where's the bodyguard? Quickly, escort this gentleman out! I don't know him!" No one heeded her. A young crew member attempted to intervene but was rebuffed with, "Don't you wonder why there isn't a bodyguard around? Are you an idiot?" The young man realized Stella had clearly antagonized someone powerful.

Unassisted, Stella's gaze fell upon Calvin. She recoiled, attempting to leave, only to be blocked by Sean. "Stella, you discarded me after using me to climb the social ladder. Now that you're successful and I'm penniless, you pretend not to know me?"

Stella stammered, "What are you talking about? I don't know you at all. Sir, I know you're a fan, so don't do anything reckless, alright?"

Sean smirked coldly. "Reckless? Fine, I'll show everyone right now that we know each other."

Stella, attempting a preemptive strike, began, "Do you have some sort of mental issue? That's whyโ€ฆ" but was cut short by a sound from behind.

She turned, understanding dawning. Silence fell. On the large screen behind her played a video of her intimate with Sean, pleading, "Sean, I've given you my all. You mustn't let me down. Don't marry her. She's not worthy of you." Her carefully cultivated image of purity shattered.

The initial live stream, viewed by hundreds of thousands, exploded to tens of millions. The comment section erupted before the stream was shut down, though other live broadcasts continued, viewers eagerly awaiting further developments.

Nathaniel's displeasure was evident. Sean continued his revelations: "A few months ago, I found you, but you dismissed me as a fan. You even instigated me to run over your romantic rival, Cecilia. When I failed, you called the police. You're ruthless!" Nathaniel registered Sean's confession about being ordered to kill Cecilia.
