Chapter 346: The VIP of Elite Club
Jonathan studied Ernest. He wasn't merely handsome; as a top-tier lawyer, he far surpassed the average man.
The kindergarten Vivian had chosen for Jonathan was impressive, filled with children from affluent families. However, their fathers, all married, were automatically disqualified as potential suitors.
The previous day, at school, Jonathan asked Felix, sitting beside him, if he knew any wealthy, handsome men.
Felix, with a proud expression, declared, โOf course. Only our Rainsworth family boasts both wealth and handsomeness.โ
Dante, Vivian's nephew, chimed in, โJonathan, I think your dad is really handsome.โ
Jonathan looked confused. โMy dad?โ
โThe guy who spoke with the director,โ Dante stated matter-of-factly.
Felix quickly corrected him, โNonsense. That's Mr. Zachary, not Jonathan's father. One's surname is Smith, the other Sinclair. They can't be father and son.โ
Dante scratched his head. โBut Grandpa said Mr. Zachary will marry Aunt Vivian.โ
โJonโs my auntโs illegitimate child, so wouldnโt that make Mr. Zachary his father?โ Dante asserted.
Felix, surprisingly, found merit in Dante's logic. Their conversation turned to finding a handsome man. Felix and Dante eagerly awaited Jonathan's arrival, having already informed their teachers they were leaving for private tutoring.
โSomething came up yesterday, so Iโm late. After I tell the teacher, we can go,โ Jonathan said, putting down his backpack. He'd signed up for a math Olympiad that day. Soon, the three children, each with a backpack, left the kindergarten.
Dante yawned. โSo, where are we finding handsome guys?โ
Felix patted his chest. โI know. The Elite Club. My father and his friends are regulars. I even have his gold card,โ he proudly revealed, producing it.
Elite Clubโฆ considering the possibility of gigolos, Jonathan silently approved. โLetโs go.โ
In broad daylight, they found the club's grand doors shut. โIsn't it open during the day?โ Felix asked, disappointed. They couldn't go in the evening; they'd be discovered.
Jonathan said, โGive your gold card to the security guard.โ
Felix approached the guard, gold card in hand. โWe want to go in and have some fun.โ
The guard was about to dismiss them when he saw the card. โAn Elite Club VIP card? How does a kid like you have this?โ These cards were extremely limited.
Felix, about to boast about his father, was interrupted by Jonathan. โCut the chatter. Let us in, or youโre fired.โ
The guard, noticing their expensive attire, assumed Jonathan was the boss's son. He opened the door. The club wasn't open during the day, but VIP service was available anytime.
Inside, Jonathan produced his own gold card. โBring us your most handsome man.โ
Jonathan's card came from a less-than-stellar father. Its wealth was immense. Nathaniel had offered it to Cecilia, but she refused. After Jonathan lost a bet and called Nathaniel "Daddy," Nathaniel gave him the card, allowing him to use it as he wished. Jonathan hadn't initially wanted it, but decided he wouldn't let calling Nathaniel "father" go to waste. That night, he was determined to teach his deadbeat father a lesson.
