Chapter 374: Confronted by Two Women

Upon arriving in Tudela, Cecilia met with Charlotte before proceeding to Orion Corporation. She waited in a nearby café, where Charlotte, equipped with a recording device, would update her. Gazing at the imposing Orion Corporation building, Cecilia sipped her coffee, a touch of apprehension coloring her expression.

Suddenly, a voice startled her. “Cecilia!” It was Yvette, Stella’s friend.

“What are you doing here?” Yvette exclaimed, incredulous.

Cecilia found the question amusing. “Why can’t I be here?”

Yvette’s fury flared. “You nearly ruined Stella’s career, and yet you’re still in Tudela! How shameless!”

Cecilia remained unmoved. “Did I force her to record that video?”

“Stella said the video was fabricated!” Yvette retorted.

“And you believed her blindly? A simple investigation would reveal the truth. Surely, as a prominent Harrison, you’re capable of that, aren’t you?” Cecilia challenged.

Yvette, speechless, stormed off, immediately calling Stella to report Cecilia’s presence. Stella, preparing for a new drama role after her recent apology, dismissed the matter after thanking Yvette.

Ironically, Yvette then encountered Paula, who had come to Tudela after hearing of Cecilia's visit, hoping to help her daughter, Cassandra, obtain a music score.

“Yvette, who did you just say was here?” Paula asked.

“Your daughter, Cecilia,” Yvette replied, still annoyed, before driving away.

Learning of Cecilia’s presence, Paula recalled Cecilia's earlier rudeness and the will in her possession. She found Cecilia at the café, working on her computer.

Paula tapped the table. “I underestimated you. Found a job, have you?”

Cecilia swiftly closed her laptop, concealing the sheet music. Paula, unconcerned, demanded, “I forgot something when you dismissed me. Where’s the will? As your father’s wife, I’m entitled to half the marital assets. Give me that invalid will.”

“What do you want it for?” Cecilia asked calmly.

Paula, surprised by Cecilia's sharp retort, was interrupted by a call from her assistant. “Ms. Cecille is leaving Orion Corporation.”

Paula immediately left. Through her hearing aid, Cecilia heard Charlotte confirm their preparations, leaving only the final decision for Cecilia.

Leaving the café, Cecilia found Paula intercepting Charlotte. Activating her hearing aid’s eavesdropping device, Cecilia heard Paula say, “You must be Ms. Cecille. I’m Cassandra’s mother. Could I speak with you?”

The revelation that Paula was Cassandra's mother stunned Cecilia.
