Chapter 578: Where Is My Son?

Elliot hadn't expected Felix to be so easily fooled. He quickened his pace, circling the artificial hill. It wasn't long before Felix was completely disoriented. He couldn't even hear Elliot's voice.

"Where is he? Eli?" he shouted, the only response an echoing silence from within the artificial hill. Felix searched frantically, desperate to leave, but he couldn't find his way out. The place was a labyrinth, and he was hopelessly lost. His initial boldness gave way to fear.

"Quick, someone, help me… Mommy… Daddy…"

Outside, Elliot watched the intricate rockery, a cold smirk playing on his lips. "This isn't even a proper maze, yet you can't find your way out. How stupid," he muttered, ignoring the increasingly desperate cries from within. He returned to his room.

As evening fell, Felix remained trapped in the garden. The path had become indistinguishable, making escape even harder. Miranda and Adrian grew impatient, waiting for Felix to return home. A call to the driver revealed Felix hadn't left Daltonia Villa.

"Let's go and check it out," Miranda said anxiously, her eyes red-rimmed. "If anything happens to my son, I'll fight them." Adrian shared her worry.

Meanwhile, back at Daltonia Villa, Elliot, sated and comfortable, lounged on the couch, engrossed in television. Unbeknownst to him, Felix shivered alone and cold by the artificial hill. Cecilia was unaware of Felix's presence until the security guard informed her of Adrian and Miranda's arrival. Ignoring the guard's attempts to stop them, Adrian and Miranda burst into the living room, where they found Cecilia and Elliot. Miranda searched frantically, but Felix was nowhere to be seen.
