Chapter 577: Play With Eli

Jonathan asked Elliot to explain what had happened. A few minutes later, he finished listening and fell silent.

“He really isn’t bad at times,” Jonathan finally said.

“Right?” Elliot’s eyes shone with anticipation.

Jonathan nodded. “Hmm, but what does that signify? He even sent someone to rescue me once.”

Elliot felt a sense of loss. “So, are you still unwilling to accept him?”

Jonathan was silent for a long time before saying, “If Mommy forgives him, then I will forgive him too.” Raising us hadn't been easy for Mommy; we shouldn't forget her struggles just because he seems better now. We must remember her hardships overseas.

“All right, it’s a deal.” Elliot decided to help Nathaniel and win Cecilia back.

Jonathan hung up, intending to sleep. Zachary entered, tossing him a backpack. “Stop lazing around. It’s time for school.”

Jonathan, almost forgetting he was a preschooler, sat up in a daze and began to dress. Zachary found this amusing. He’d always been diligent; this laziness was new. “What were you up to last night? You still seem half asleep.”

Jonathan replied, “Nothing,” piquing Zachary’s curiosity. Zachary personally drove him to school, assigning numerous bodyguards to prevent another incident.

At the school entrance, Jonathan saw Felix waiting. He stepped out of the car. Felix rushed toward him, scrutinizing him. “Are you Jon?” he asked uncertainly.

“What do you think?” Jonathan replied, speechless.

Dante approached. “Jon, Felix said someone who looks exactly like you visited their house, claiming to be his uncle’s son.”

Felix became angry. “His name is Eli or something. He’s so annoying.”

Jonathan wasn’t offended; even he found his brother difficult at times. “All right, let’s head to class.”

Walking with Jonathan, Felix said, “Jon, you need to put that guy in his place. Once I’m Rainsworth Group chairman, I’ll make you general manager.”

Jonathan patted his shoulder teasingly. “But what if I want to be chairman?”

Felix was speechless. He spent class thinking about Elliot, consumed by the urge to punch him. Since Jonathan wouldn't help, he decided to bring some boys to Nathaniel’s house to rough up Elliot.

After school, Felix gave the boys toy cars and instructed his driver to go to Daltonia Villa. The driver hesitated, calling Felix’s parents. Miranda, surprisingly, agreed. “You can send Felix there. That’s where his uncle lives. He’s just going to play with Eli.” Elliot wasn't well; Miranda thought some trouble might actually be a good thing. They were just kids; they wouldn't bear responsibility.

Chapter 578: Where Is My Son

Bored at home, Elliot went for a stroll and encountered Felix and two children at his doorstep. Felix said, “Come out, Eli.”

Elliot saw they weren't there for a friendly visit. His poor health made fighting impossible. “Were you calling me? Why should I listen to you?” he said, rolling his eyes.

Felix became angrier. “You unwanted child, how dare you glare at me!”

Elliot’s gaze turned icy. I must teach these kids a lesson!

“Felix, do you dare to come in here alone?” Felix, believing the child was only similar to Jonathan, thought he could win a fight. “Of course!”

He entered with the other children, the security guard letting them through since Elliot knew Felix. Felix clenched his fists, ready to attack, but Elliot dodged him. “There are people watching. Let’s go somewhere secluded.”

Felix realized this was true. Following Elliot to the artificial hill, the two young children quickly disappeared from view.
