Chapter 622 What Happened

The mothersโ€™ group chat seethed with accusations and curses. Cecilia stared at the venomous messages, choosing not to reply without a full understanding of the situation. She decided to go to Jonathan's preschool immediately, forgoing a call to Jonathan.

โ€œEli, Mommyโ€™s going to Jonโ€™s preschool. You and Daddy go to your new preschool for enrollment, okay?โ€ Cecilia said, bending down to Elliot.

Elliot asked, โ€œMommy, did something happen to Jon at preschool?โ€

โ€œItโ€™s nothing. The teacher wants to talk to me,โ€ Cecilia replied, patting his head. He sensed her lie; if it were nothing, why the summons? He knew something was amiss, but Cecilia couldn't tell him.

โ€œOkay, Daddy and I will leave now. Bye!โ€

โ€œBye.โ€

Cecilia watched Nathaniel and Elliot leave. Mason waited outside. Noticing Nathaniel and Elliot, he glanced at them several times.

โ€œMr. Rainsworth, Mr. Elliot,โ€ the driver opened the car door.

Elliot and Nathaniel entered the car, Mason taking the front passenger seat. He briefed Elliot on what to expect at the new preschool. Several cars of bodyguards followed, ensuring Elliot's safety. Elliot listened quietly, his eyes full of anticipation.

โ€œEven though Iโ€™m not going to the same preschool as Jon, Iโ€™m still so happy.โ€

Mason was surprised. โ€œWe could arrange for the same preschool.โ€

Before he could finish, Nathaniel interrupted, โ€œThis one works.โ€

โ€œOkay.โ€

Elliot didn't press the issue. He turned to Nathaniel. โ€œDad, I think something happened to Jon. Do you want to go check it out? Mr. Sanders and I can handle the enrollment ourselves.โ€ The preschools were on opposite sides of town. Nathaniel had planned to enroll Elliot first, but Elliot's words changed his mind.

โ€œMason, help Eli with his enrollment. I need to leave.โ€

He had the driver stop, transferring to another car and instructing the driver to proceed to the preschool.

Meanwhile, Cecilia had arrived at the international preschool. In the teacherโ€™s office, Jonathan stood in the corner. Before his parents arrived, he discreetly activated a new feature on his watchโ€”a live stream. Unaware, the parents in front of him were broadcast live on an account named โ€œJonโ€™s Mommy,โ€ which already boasted ten million followers. He had cleverly remembered Vivianโ€™s account password.

The teacher fawned over the parents of the injured children.

โ€œJon was a good kid, but recentlyโ€ฆ I donโ€™t know whatโ€™s gotten into him. Heโ€™s started picking fights with other kids.โ€

One of the injured children's mothers sneered, โ€œA bad seed is a bad seed. Do you think heโ€™s changed? He was always bad.โ€

Another added, โ€œExactly, our children are precious. Could they possibly be compared to a child from a disabled family?โ€

A disabled family. Jonathan disregarded the insults directed at himself, but not those aimed at his parents.

Clenching his fists, he said, โ€œWhat do you mean by โ€˜a child from a disabled familyโ€™? Are children from disabled families not supposed to receive fair treatment?โ€

His small face was serious. The two mothers fell silent, their initial confidence replaced by an inexplicable fear at the sight of Jonathan's dark, serious eyes. Meanwhile, the โ€œJonโ€™s Mommyโ€ live stream had gained over three million more followers and viewers.
