"Ms. Camila," Cecilia retorted, "if you suggest a disabled child should hide, shouldn't a mistress's son remain out of the public eye?"

Jon, unconcerned with viewership, discreetly texted Zachary for help, fearing Cecilia might be bullied. Despite the accusation, Camila remained unfazed. "So what if I'm a mistress? My son lives better than ninety-nine percent of children." Her brazen response solidified Cecilia's belief that her son wouldn't have initiated the altercation.

Ignoring Camila, Cecilia crouched beside Jonathan. "Jon, tell Mommy what happened."

"After the restroom, four kids cornered me and tried to attack. They started it; I defended myself," Jonathan explained succinctly, omitting Felix's involvement to avoid further complications.

Cecilia asked, "Were you hurt?" Jonathan shook his head. "They're no match for me." Relief washed over Cecilia.

Some adults questioned their children: "Did you start it?" A child, influenced by Felix, denied it, claiming, "He hit us first!" The others echoed this, accusing Jonathan of initiating the fight.

Cecilia didn't immediately defend Jonathan. "You say Jon hit you first. How?"

Caelum stepped forward. "We four went to the restroom and accidentally blocked Jon. He hit us all."

Anisa interjected, "Why didn't you fight back?" Caelum choked back tears.

Cecilia smirked. "Why didn't you fight back? Let him beat all four of you?" She didn't believe their story, especially given their similar ages. Caelum, clearly coached, explained, "The teacher told us not to fight."
