Chapter 625 To The Rescue
After hearing Anisa's comment, Cecilia turned to her and said, "Did you hear that? Your son is quite obedient."
Cecilia, however, was unconvinced. Instead of arguing, she went directly to the teacher. "Isn't there a surveillance system in the school? Could you check the footage? If my son hit someone without reason, I'll apologize profusely."
The teacher's face fell. "I'm sorry, Ms. Cecilia, but the camera near the restroom is broken."
This sparked online ridicule: "Funny how things always break conveniently." One netizen agreed, questioning why Jon would fight four children alone. Another wondered if the four children simply obeyed their teacher without retaliation. A defender of the four children countered, stating their testimony was sufficient proof of Jon's guilt. Another netizen challenged the notion that the majority is always right. The online debate mirrored the heated situation at the kindergarten.
Cecilia doubted the camera malfunction. She told the teacher, "I'll visit the security office to check the footage myself."
The teacher, visibly troubled, tried to dissuade her. "Everyone says Jon started the fight, and the other children are injured. Just apologize and let's end this."
"Their injuries don't prove their claims. I won't apologize without evidence," Cecilia insisted.
Oscar, abandoning his composure, stepped forward. "What do you mean there's no evidence? Look at my son's face! I have work and no time for this. Apologize, or I'll have you and your child kneel right here!"
Two imposing bodyguards entered. "Get them!" Oscar ordered. Anisa added, "Give her son a few punches; she'll learn her lesson!"
Camila then added, "And remember to cover our child's medical and emotional distress expenses!" The other boys' parents remained silent. The teacher watched passively.
Cecilia immediately stepped in front of Jon. "Don't you dare touch my son!"
Oscar smirked. "Too late!" He gestured to the bodyguards. "Go."
The bodyguards advanced. Jonathan, trying to protect Cecilia, was helpless against them. Just as he panicked, a man in a suit burst in, swiftly incapacitating both bodyguards.
"Mr. Sven," Cecilia breathed, relieved. She was grateful she'd brought him.
Sven reassured them, "Don't worry. I'm here." Jonathan nodded.
Oscar fumed. "You good-for-nothings! You couldn't handle one incompetent fool?"
The bodyguards rose, but Sven quickly subdued them again. Oscar lunged, but Sven delivered a powerful kick to his stomach.
Online, women reacted enthusiastically to Sven's dramatic arrival: "He's so hot and handsome! And a great fighter! Is he Nathaniel's brother?" Another suggested a distant relative. Many jokingly proposed marriage for Jon's sake in the livestream chat.
