Chapter 628: Forced to Apologize

Zachary, accompanied by a dozen intensely focused bodyguards, arrived. He'd received a message from Jonathan and rushed to the teacher's office, witnessing the bullying firsthand. Zachary's influence extended far beyond high society; as heir to a pharmaceutical giant, few dared to cross him. His appearance instantly boosted the livestream's viewership from thirty to one hundred million.

Oscar, drenched in cold sweat, hadn't anticipated Zachary's arrival. Zachary's ruthlessness was legendary, surpassed only by Nathaniel's, though Nathaniel acted only when his interests were involved. Zachary, however, acted on impulse. Oscar immediately cowered, stammering, "Mr. Sinclair, I was only joking. My small business is nothing compared to Sinclair Group."

Zachary disregarded the flattery. "Are you planning to expel my godson?" he asked.

Nathaniel, waiting in his car, frowned upon hearing this. Godson? he thought. When did I agree to that? He'd encountered Zachary en route and asked for his assistance. Even the bodyguard playing the recording was stunned. Oscar, trembling, repeated, "He's your godson?" The other parents were equally shocked. Jonathan, Zachary's godson and the future heir to the Sinclair fortune, was untouchable. Their desire for justice evaporated, replaced by a frantic need to appease Cecilia and Zachary. Cecilia, surprised by Zachary's intervention, found her dislike for him subtly lessening.

Oscar quickly shook his head. "No, no. I'll have my son apologize immediately." Anisa, his wife, was astonished by his subservience. "Honey, what are you doing?" she asked. Oscar snapped, "Shut up!" Anisa, realizing their precarious position, fell silent. Oscar forced Caelum to apologize to Jonathan. Startled, Caelum mumbled, "I'm sorry, Jonathan." The other children, similarly pressured, followed suit.

Jonathan responded indifferently. "Your apologies aren't sincere, but I don't hold grudges. I believe you've learned your lesson." The children hung their heads.

Cecilia then addressed Oscar, Anisa, and Camila. "You need to apologize to my son, too. You called him names; you will pay for that."
