Chapter 641 A Trick Up Her Sleeve

It was Terry's mother, and her gaze was particularly discerning. "Ms. Cecilia," she affirmed, "I stand with you. You definitely have my vote."

Once she fearlessly agreed, the other mothers followed suit, each giving their consent. They had long grown tired of Miranda's overbearing and arrogant leadership as chairperson.

Everything was going exceptionally well, but upon returning home, Cecilia felt something was amiss. Preoccupied with getting Moana, the nutritionist her mother-in-law had sent, to leave, she gave little thought to the other mothers' concerns. "How can I get her to leave?" she murmured, closing her eyes.

Having woken at 8:30 AM, she felt sleepy again by noon. While driving, Sven asked, "Who are you trying to get to leave?"

"Moana, the nutritionist my mother-in-law sent."

Cecilia had Sven stop for lunch. While eating, she vented about the nutritionist. Sven then suggested, "Resolving this is quite simple. Let Nathaniel take action."

Cecilia shook her head. Minor issues still existed between them, and asking for a favor felt unpleasant. However, Sven's suggestion sparked a brilliant idea. "But I know how to provoke Nathaniel into acting without asking him." Sven listened, offering no further comment; he rarely pressed for answers when someone chose silence.

Returning home, Cecilia found Moana directing the chefs. Mic approached the kitchen. "Hello, Moana." Upon hearing of Cecilia's return, Moana immediately put on airs. "Mrs. Rainsworth, you're only just returning now? Were you eating out again?" Her demeanor reminded Cecilia of Liam.

"You can arrange dinner," Cecilia responded. "I'll eat whatever."

A sense of satisfaction flashed in Moana's eyes. "My complaints must have been effective. Didn't you refuse?" she said. "This is how you should have been from the start." Moana then instructed the kitchen to prepare more meat dishes.

Cecilia interrupted, "Moana, I can eat all the meat, but Nathaniel and the child can't solely rely on meat, right?"

Moana, having almost forgotten about Nathaniel and the child, agreed. "True. I'll have the kitchen prepare something for them."

"Aren't you a nutritionist? Could you help with meal planning? Nathaniel really likes carrots, so try to incorporate them into each dish as much as possible."

Unsuspecting, Moana added carrots to every dish intended for Nathaniel. When the chef protested that Nathaniel disliked carrots, Moana snapped, "Cut the nonsense and just do as I say!" She acted as if she were Nathaniel's actual mother. The chef complied.

Cecilia continued, "Don't you think the home's layout is inconvenient? What if it unintentionally hurts my baby?"

Moana immediately instructed the servants to rearrange the furniture. Cecilia watched, seating herself as instructed, awaiting Nathaniel and Elliot's return. "Why couldn't you have been this obedient earlier? It would have saved me a lot of trouble," Moana muttered.

Cecilia wondered if this woman was truly Elena's former nutritionist. Despite her doubts, she patiently agreed, "Okay."

Nathaniel and Elliot returned that evening. Cecilia told them to eat while she went to the kitchen. Elliot immediately noticed the abundance of carrots on the table. He knew his brother disliked carrots, but since he liked them, he didn't question it. He wondered where Mommy had gone.

As Nathaniel took a bite, his brow furrowed. "Cecilia!" He instinctively assumed she was playing another trick on him.
