Samuel donated a hundred million, and Harriet contributed twice that amount. There was no need for Alaric to get involved, as the money was already enough.

Waverly then stepped out of the bathroom, brimming with confidence. At that moment, Margaret and the store manager were still discussing the Blue Arctic Star necklace. Immediately, Waverly made a sweeping gesture and commanded, “Bring this luxurious necklace out at once so my mom can try it on!” The store manager hastily took the Blue Arctic Star, which she had packed up for Raylee earlier, to the break room and unpacked it again.

Mr. Foucault had paid for the necklace, which was worth a whopping one and a half billion, without batting an eye. Therefore, it already belonged to Raylee. She couldn’t comprehend why Raylee still felt the need to put on an act, but this wasn’t a matter she needed to delve into. All she needed to do was play along with Raylee’s instructions. After all, Mr. Foucault was the real bigwig backing Raylee up.

“Of course I am! My parents told me that no amount of money is too much if it’s something you love, Mom! As long as you’re happy, the money isn’t an issue. Besides, my relationship with Casimir can’t be measured in terms of money!” Waverly sweetly cooed, wrapping her arms around Margaret.

At that moment, Margaret found Waverly extremely pleasing. She called her name with much more affection than before, the disdain completely gone.

“Wavy, you’re truly a good child. Don’t worry; as long as you give me this necklace, I won’t let you suffer any injustice. I promise to treat you twice as well once you marry into the Sutherland family.”
