Chapter 128: Olive, He Treats You Very Differently

Pamela knelt before Olive, pleading with teary eyes, her expression conveying genuine fright. Oliveโ€™s fan base had exploded to thirty million, and this was the first time she'd heard of them threatening Pamela. Olive approached Pamela. "Can you prove they are my fans?"

Pamela, wiser now, refused to fall into Olive's trap. Her story was fabricated. She produced her phone, pointing it at Olive. "Look, Olive, your fans are cursing me with vulgar language. They're saying I tried to seduce Mr. Augustine; some even threaten to pour acid on me. Olive, I'm terrified for my life."

Olive glanced at Pamela's phone; the screenshots of the threats looked authentic. A murmur rippled through the students. "Why are Olive's fans so terrifying?" one whispered. "Pouring acid? That's too far."

Olive sneered. "Pamela, I sympathize, but kneeling won't help. Call the police; let them handle it."

Pamela was stunned. Olive's unexpected response left her speechless. Olive, noticing Pamela's horrified expression, calmly dialed 911 before Pamela could react. "Pamela, since you haven't contacted the police, I will. Hang on a sec."

Pamela's body went cold. She rushed forward, hugging Olive's leg. "Olive, please don't! They'll hurt me, my family, my friends!" She screamed, then fainted.

Greg rushed over, addressing Olive angrily. "Olive, isn't this enough? What has she done wrong? I've never seen anyone so vicious!" He scooped up the unconscious Pamela and rushed her to the clinic.

The students exchanged worried glances. "That Olive is ruthless; she scared Pamela senseless," one whispered. "Let's stay away from her; we can't afford to offend her." They quickly dispersed.

Divine stamped her foot. "Olive, did you see Pamela's ploy? She's playing the victim!"

Olive calmly watched Greg leave. "Divine, don't worry. Let's see what she's up to. Let her dance awhile."

Reassured by Olive's composure, Divine and Olive entered a pharmacy. Olive pointed to flower pots in the corner. "Divine, are there rare medicinal herbs in these?"

Divine chuckled nervously. "My family's in medicine, but I've never liked it. My grandfather was disappointed, but yes, I do have some extinct herbs." Olive's eyes widened with delight. "Divine, you're amazing! Can I help you move them outside for better sunlight?"

"Yes, thank you, Olive."

Moving a pot, Olive collided with a strong chest. "Ouch!" she moaned, rubbing her forehead. She looked up into the handsome face of a man. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you."

Marvin, having watched the collision, remained silent. Olive, preoccupied with the flowerpot, hadn't noticed him. Divine rushed over. "Olive, are you okay?"

Marvin glanced at Divine, who looked thinner, then quickly shifted his gaze back to Olive. He returned to his seat without speaking.

Olive and Divine stared at the handsome but cold Marvin, who was flipping through a medical textbook. "What do you think of him, Olive? Isn't he charming?"

Olive rubbed her forehead, her eyes questioning. "Divine, do you like him?"

"Everyone likes beautiful people. But I wouldn't dare like him; he's very cold. He's been here ages and hasn't spoken to a girl," Divine replied.

"Really?" Olive asked, intrigued.

"Yeah, he avoids us. But Olive, he treats you differently!"

Olive shivered. "What do you mean?"

"Since you arrived, he's treated you differently. Did you two know each other before?"

Olive shook her head vehemently. "I don't know him. And please, Divine, I'm married. Mr. Augustine is very jealous." At the mention of Mr. Augustine, Divine visibly trembled, falling silent.

Olive finished arranging the flowerpots. A message beeped on her phone.
