Chapter 160: You Are My Little Princess

Olive posted a link to North's livestream. Instantly, social media erupted. Her assistant watched in excitement as viewership skyrocketed. "North, Olive, you guys are amazing!"

Olive took a sip of water. "Let's start the livestream," she told her assistant.

"Now? Shouldn't we wait?"

"No need. We'll get even more viewers once we begin," North insisted.

The curtain opened, revealing North and Olive. A faint smile touched North's lips. "Olive, look at this barrage, OMG!" she exclaimed, pointing to the screen overflowing with virtual gifts.

The comments flooded in: "Olive, you still have the courage to show yourself?" "Olive, now that President Augustine is with Pamela, has the divorce been finalized?" "North, why are you still with someone like Olive?" "Olive, leave Los Angeles ASAP!"

North patted Olive's shoulder. "Are you okay?"

Olive chuckled and winked. "Don't worry, I'm fine."

In a nearby livestream, Gwen watched and laughed. "Pamela, Olive is shameless! She's being torn apart by the audience."

Pamela, still fuming from a recent humiliation, muttered, "Let's just watch her disgrace herself."

Gwen giggled. "Pamela, we're getting tons of gifts!"

Both livestreams quickly gained momentum, yet Olive continued to face online abuse. Pamela licked her lips. She hadn't won Elvis's heart, but she believed she'd won the public's.

Then, Olive responded, concisely and directly: "Elvis, my love, is mine, and mine alone!" She'd directly addressed the divorce rumors, demonstrating a defiant resolve.

"Olive, you're showing off your thick skin, right?" Gwen read aloud, gleeful at the negative comments. "President Augustine is with Pamela now!" "Compared to the talented Pamela, who would choose a nobody from the countryside?"

Pamela watched contentedly. She couldn't comprehend how Olive could be considered her rival.

Suddenly, a stunning firework gift exploded on North's livestream – a lavish donation from a wealthy businessman worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Gwen's face fell. "Pamela, a rich sponsor just gifted North fireworks! Our gifts are nothing in comparison."

Pamela was stunned. Their gifts paled beside North's. Who was this benefactor? She looked closer. The name: Elvis Augustine. Elvis was watching North's livestream!

"Yes, Olive is mine, and I'm hers alone!" Elvis commented.

Silence fell. Olive hadn't expected Elvis's intervention; he rarely participated in such things. North blinked at Olive. "Your man's here to support you."

Olive smiled. She replied to Elvis's comment, her tone laced with indignant amusement: "Mr. Augustine, they called me a waste, a bastard!"

"Who dares to say such things?" Elvis responded instantly.

The number of viewers in North's livestream soared, eclipsing Gwen and Pamela's.

"It's okay, my princess. I'll spoil you tonight," Elvis commented. The internet went wild. Elvis's overt affection for Olive shocked everyone.

North pursed her lips, thinking there was no better couple than Elvis and Olive. Olive, ever practical, even remembered Pamela's commendation day. She publicly messaged Pamela: "Pamela, you owe me 1.2 million. Even though Mr. Augustine initially gave it to you, as his wife, I wasn't aware. Please repay me immediately."

The audience was stunned. Olive was publicly demanding repayment of the 1.2 million Elvis had given Pamela.

Then, a notification appeared on everyone's phones: A legal notice from the Augustine Corporation. Pamela risked facing civil charges and extortion if she didn't repay the money.

The internet was awestruck. One moment, Olive demanded the money; the next, the Augustine Corporation's legal action followed.
