Chapter 162: Say You Love Me
Olive watched North's assistant discreetly nod at North's outfit. She had posted the link, and within seconds, the outfit sold out. Olive asked the assistant incredulously, "All of them?" It was the assistant's first glimpse of North's power. Olive gazed at North with starry eyes. The comments flooded in: "Omg! I got nothing!" "My hands are so slow." "Beautiful North, your earrings are so beautiful, please drop the link!" "I want the link to the bags and shoes!"
The assistant posted the links; they expired instantly. North kept changing outfits. Tired, she eventually held up various ensembles. "These are for cuties vacationing with their boyfriends. No matter how many beauties are present, you'll always be the center of attraction." She continued, "And this outfit is perfect for attending your ex-boyfriend's wedding. You'll command everyone's attention, and trust me, your ex will be envious, but as a queen, you won't take him back." North chuckled. "This outfit is for boss ladies. Perfect for the workplace. You know, that boss vibe."
North possessed an exceptional sense of style and taste, making her a fashion icon. Half an hour later, all the studio's clothing was sold out. North sat to rest as her assistant offered yogurt. She started to take a sip.
A comment appeared: "I wasn't fast enough to buy anything, North, can I have the yogurt?" The assistant looked at North, who shrugged. The assistant chuckled, posting the link. "F***, I didn't even get the yogurt; it was sold out in seconds!" North blinked and handed her the yogurt for packaging. North's livestream attracted a predominantly female audience, but she also had many male fans.
A loud bang and fireworks exploded on the screen. A viewer's 14:25 gift request followed: "Beautiful North, can we see you in a suit?" North, ever professional, smiled. "Thank you for the gift. I'll change into a suit now."
Elvis arrived at the hotel to discuss a project with Raven. Raven elegantly sipped his coffee, his dark eyes fixed on Elvis. Elvis raised his eyelids. "Are you sure you don't want to join North's livestream? It's her first one today." Raven set down his teacup. His expression was impassive, his aura cold. He had last seen North at his birthday and had asked her manager to halt all her work until she met him. But North refused, opting for the livestream instead.
Raven, who had nurtured and guided North's career, felt she'd been spoiled and now defied him. He needed to teach her a lesson.
A knock came. North's manager rushed in, clearly agitated. "Young Master Blue," she called out. Raven looked at her indifferently. "What is it?" "Young Master Raven, North's first livestream is a huge success. It's overshadowed Pamela's, becoming the most viewed in LA. All her outfits sold out. My phone's been buzzing; popular brands want North for their modeling teams."
Raven ignored Elvis's smirk, pulling out his phone. He quickly found North's livestream. She wore a pink dress and ponytail, looking like a princess. The music stopped. North ducked beneath the camera and reappeared in a black suit. The sweet girl had vanished. She stared arrogantly into the camera, adjusting her tie.
Comments erupted: "OMG! I'm already dead!" "North, this is so gorgeous! I f***ing want this!"
Raven's eyes widened. He remembered North two years prior, well-behaved and gentle. He'd imagined her grown-up self, but hadn't expected this goddess-like beauty. The public was right; North was born for showbiz! Raven watched, captivated, licking his lips. He sent a fireworks gift and a request: "Say you love me."
