Chapter 232: Iโll Never Like You Again!
Elvisโs chest was hard as a wall. No matter how much Olive pushed, he wouldnโt lower his gaze, instead meeting hers with annoyed, clear eyes. Olive squeezed her fist and punched his chest twice. โLet me go! I donโt want to talk to you!โ
It was the first time Olive had been so cold to him. Elvis couldnโt help but feel she no longer liked him. He clasped her wrist, pressing it against the wall. โHave you slept with Marvin? I wasnโt comfortable touching you before, but I need to know if youโre with someone else.โ
Imprisoned in his embrace, Olive could smell his clean, masculine scent. His question made her legs wobble, nearly causing her to slide down the wall. โElvis, weโre divorced. You cheated first, you didnโt want me first. Do I need to explain anything? You donโt want me, yet you donโt want anyone else to have meโhow ironic?โ she glared.
Elvis lowered his head and kissed her hard, like a ferocious beast devouring coveted prey. Olive was the most beautiful woman heโd ever seen. He knew she had a bright future and realized he couldnโt contribute positively to it; he needed to step aside.
Olive was furious. Heโd pushed her away brutally days ago, and now, after their divorce, heโd reappeared to provoke her. Sheโd decided to move to Imperial and start a new life. He shouldnโt have disrupted her peace and stirred her heart.
Suddenly, she bit his lip hard. Blood instantly welled, spreading across his mouth. He frowned but didnโt let go. How could he? A bitter taste filled his mouth, and Olive cried out. Elvisโs body shook; his eyes opened to see her swollen, red lips. He slowly loosened his grip.
Olive wiped her tears, but they flowed freely. โElvis, you bullied me! You do this because I like you, right? From now on, I donโt like you anymore. I promise never to let you bully me again. Iโm leaving Los Angeles today and never returning. I hate you!โ She rushed into the elevator, disappearing from view.
Elvis froze, staring at the elevator doors, unable to move. The bitter taste lingered; he felt a trickle of blood on his lip. He wiped it away.

Elvis leaned against the wall, pale and suffering a splitting headacheโthe aftereffect of sleeping pills. A hotel staff rushed over. โSir, are you alright? Should I call an ambulance?โ Elvis shook his head. โNo need.โ He turned and left.
He returned to his presidential suite, splashing cold water on his face. His phone rang; it was Andrew. Elvis answered. โHello, CEO. Maโam Olive is finished packing.โ Elvis hung up without a word. Olive was truly gone.
Oliveโs last words echoed: โFrom now on, I donโt like you anymoreโฆ Iโll never return to Los Angelesโฆ I hate you!โ Elvis clasped the washstand, his scarlet eyes drooping; he chuckled in pain. Heโd lost her.
He returned to his room, sat on the bed, and emptied a bottle of sleeping pills into his hand, swallowing them one by one. He needed sleep.
At the airport, Olive carried only a small suitcase filled with medical books. North accompanied her. North hugged Olive. โOlive, take care. Canadaโs different from Los Angeles. Almost everyone you meet could be powerful; donโt offend anyone. Call when you arrive, and Iโll visit.โ
Olive, already familiar with Imperial City, patted Northโs hand. โNorth, I understand. Our separation is temporary. Iโll see you in Imperial.โ
Marvin watched from a distance, relieved Olive was leaving. Phil approached. โSecond young master, maโam called; sheโll pick you up at the airport.โ
Marvin remained expressionless. Phil continued, โI heard Canada isnโt peaceful.โ
โWhat do you mean?โ
โOld Mrs. Robert, Derrick Rodriguez, Mr. Hart, and others are waiting for Olive at the airport.โ
Marvinโs eyes widened in surprise. He never imagined a girl from Los Angeles could attract such attention in Imperial City.
