Chapter 232: Iโ€™ll Never Like You Again!

Elvisโ€™s chest was hard as a wall. No matter how much Olive pushed, he wouldnโ€™t lower his gaze, instead meeting hers with annoyed, clear eyes. Olive squeezed her fist and punched his chest twice. โ€œLet me go! I donโ€™t want to talk to you!โ€

It was the first time Olive had been so cold to him. Elvis couldnโ€™t help but feel she no longer liked him. He clasped her wrist, pressing it against the wall. โ€œHave you slept with Marvin? I wasnโ€™t comfortable touching you before, but I need to know if youโ€™re with someone else.โ€

Imprisoned in his embrace, Olive could smell his clean, masculine scent. His question made her legs wobble, nearly causing her to slide down the wall. โ€œElvis, weโ€™re divorced. You cheated first, you didnโ€™t want me first. Do I need to explain anything? You donโ€™t want me, yet you donโ€™t want anyone else to have meโ€”how ironic?โ€ she glared.

Elvis lowered his head and kissed her hard, like a ferocious beast devouring coveted prey. Olive was the most beautiful woman heโ€™d ever seen. He knew she had a bright future and realized he couldnโ€™t contribute positively to it; he needed to step aside.

Olive was furious. Heโ€™d pushed her away brutally days ago, and now, after their divorce, heโ€™d reappeared to provoke her. Sheโ€™d decided to move to Imperial and start a new life. He shouldnโ€™t have disrupted her peace and stirred her heart.

Suddenly, she bit his lip hard. Blood instantly welled, spreading across his mouth. He frowned but didnโ€™t let go. How could he? A bitter taste filled his mouth, and Olive cried out. Elvisโ€™s body shook; his eyes opened to see her swollen, red lips. He slowly loosened his grip.

Olive wiped her tears, but they flowed freely. โ€œElvis, you bullied me! You do this because I like you, right? From now on, I donโ€™t like you anymore. I promise never to let you bully me again. Iโ€™m leaving Los Angeles today and never returning. I hate you!โ€ She rushed into the elevator, disappearing from view.

Elvis froze, staring at the elevator doors, unable to move. The bitter taste lingered; he felt a trickle of blood on his lip. He wiped it away.

Elvis leaned against the wall, pale and suffering a splitting headacheโ€”the aftereffect of sleeping pills. A hotel staff rushed over. โ€œSir, are you alright? Should I call an ambulance?โ€ Elvis shook his head. โ€œNo need.โ€ He turned and left.

He returned to his presidential suite, splashing cold water on his face. His phone rang; it was Andrew. Elvis answered. โ€œHello, CEO. Maโ€™am Olive is finished packing.โ€ Elvis hung up without a word. Olive was truly gone.

Oliveโ€™s last words echoed: โ€œFrom now on, I donโ€™t like you anymoreโ€ฆ Iโ€™ll never return to Los Angelesโ€ฆ I hate you!โ€ Elvis clasped the washstand, his scarlet eyes drooping; he chuckled in pain. Heโ€™d lost her.

He returned to his room, sat on the bed, and emptied a bottle of sleeping pills into his hand, swallowing them one by one. He needed sleep.

At the airport, Olive carried only a small suitcase filled with medical books. North accompanied her. North hugged Olive. โ€œOlive, take care. Canadaโ€™s different from Los Angeles. Almost everyone you meet could be powerful; donโ€™t offend anyone. Call when you arrive, and Iโ€™ll visit.โ€

Olive, already familiar with Imperial City, patted Northโ€™s hand. โ€œNorth, I understand. Our separation is temporary. Iโ€™ll see you in Imperial.โ€

Marvin watched from a distance, relieved Olive was leaving. Phil approached. โ€œSecond young master, maโ€™am called; sheโ€™ll pick you up at the airport.โ€

Marvin remained expressionless. Phil continued, โ€œI heard Canada isnโ€™t peaceful.โ€

โ€œWhat do you mean?โ€

โ€œOld Mrs. Robert, Derrick Rodriguez, Mr. Hart, and others are waiting for Olive at the airport.โ€

Marvinโ€™s eyes widened in surprise. He never imagined a girl from Los Angeles could attract such attention in Imperial City.
