Chapter 263: Stopping Olive at Watson's Door

Noah, a jovial man who took his jokes lightly, declared, "All of you must come tomorrowโ€”bring your friends! I'll let you see her true face." Crystal, taking a sip of juice, simply replied, "Okay, that's a deal," offering little further comment. Noah's elaborate plan aimed to shock the elite, promising a spectacular show. Crystal recalled Elvis, gazing at Olive from his luxury car; he wouldn't miss this, she thought.

The next morning, as Crystal emerged from a luxury car at Watson, their eyes met. Dressed in a princess gown, Crystal regarded Olive with condescending arrogance, the privilege of a wealthy Robert family daughter. Olive saw the hostility, tinged with gloating, in Crystal's eyes. "Crystal, you're here. Let's go to school together," Olive said. Girls excitedly swarmed Crystal, who responded with a charming, innocent smile. Her popularity spanned both the celebrity world and school; her shy demeanor concealed a lack of pretension, endearing her to everyone. "Okay, let's go in," Crystal said, joining the group entering Bright Star. Olive quietly followed into Watson.

In Medical Class 2, Alicia exclaimed, "Olive, I'm going to die of anger!" "What's going on?" Olive asked. Alicia shoved her phone forward. "Olive, look! The Watson forum's been hacked since last night. People are saying you're a fairy with your veil, a clown without it." Olive saw the numerous posts, one initially praising her as Watson's little fairy, now overrun with malicious comments. The posts ridiculed her appearance and associated her with Watson's perceived low reputation. Surrounding students, however, voiced their support. "Olive, don't be sad. These are just anonymous cowards," they said. "You're Watson's beauty queen, no matter what."

Watson's students, though academically underachieving, possessed a strong sense of unity, forged by their shared experiences of ridicule within the Royal College of Medicine. They lacked outside friends, strengthening their internal bonds. Despite her recent arrival, Olive's beauty had quickly garnered their loyalty and protection. Olive, deeply touched by their support, dismissed the online comments as blackmail orchestrated against her and Watson. Alicia then revealed a graver threat: Noah had mobilized half the upper class to confront Olive at Watson's gates, intending to remove her veil and humiliate her.

Olive, recalling Crystal's gloating, remained unfazed. The students, however, panicked, having internalized the negative online comments, fearing a flawed appearance. "Olive, you should take a day off," they urged. "A good plastic surgeon can help fix any problems." Olive laughed, her red lips curling. "Thank you for your concern," she said, her voice calm and clear. "I won't hide. Let them come. Please return to your studies; the entrance exams are approaching." Her unwavering confidence calmed the students.

As the school day ended, Crystal called Elvis. "Elvis, where are you? Can you pick me up?" she asked sweetly. "I'm busy today," Elvis replied curtly, refusing her request. Crystal was stunned. She explained Noah's plan to confront Olive at the gates, highlighting the rumors of Olive's alleged ugliness beneath her veil. "Elvis, are you really not coming?" Elvis's terse "No," followed by a disconnected call, left Crystal speechless.
