Chapter 266

Watson's top students were overjoyed, and Noah was surprised. Olive's delicate beauty captivated them. These young men, lacking girlfriends, had never seen anyone as beautiful as Olive; even Crystal, Bright Star's beauty queen, paled in comparison. Crystal, upon seeing Olive's unveiled face, was stunned. What the veil concealed wasn't ugliness, but breathtaking beauty.

Olive's clear eyes met Noah's. "Noah, you lost the bet. From tomorrow, you'll prepare breakfast for us at Watson. I have work to do; I'll go first." She left, her figure fading from view. Noah stared in her direction, his mind filled with her image. She was a fairy, and he had lost. But how could she be so beautiful?

His friends jostled him. "My God, Young Master White, Olive is so pretty!" Jimmy exclaimed, "Noah, she's not your fiancée anymore. You have nothing to do with her. She's Watson's beauty queen. We will protect her." Another added, "Noah, arrange breakfast soon!"

They swaggered away, excitedly asking, "Did you post Olive's picture on the Watson forum?" One mused, "Watson has such a beautiful fairy. Other medical colleges can't compare."

Left alone, Noah slowly regained his composure. Surprise, shock, and regret washed over him. He'd had no idea Olive was so stunning. It was too late; he'd lost his chance. Silently, he entered his sports car and drove to a bar to drink.

Crystal froze, her face hardening. She was Bright Star's top beauty, but her title was threatened. She despised Watson's students; their departure without a glance at her was infuriating. "Disgusting!"

Returning home, she accessed the Watson forum. A photo of Olive was posted, along with comments like, "Oh my god, Watson has a beautiful fairy!" Another read, "Noah unveiled the school's beauty and was smitten. He's reportedly drunk in a bar, calling Olive's name." Another post stated, "Olive was Noah's fiancée, but their engagement was annulled." Finally, one comment declared, "Olive's arrival will shake up the Imperial schools' beauty rankings."

Crystal checked the beauty queen list. Olive, as Miss Watson, was second, a testament to her beauty. Online debate raged: "Olive's looks and aura win my vote," one person wrote. Another countered, "The beauty list judges overall strength; Olive was rejected by Bright Star, so this is a joke." Many still favored Crystal, whose family background and long-standing connections gave her an edge. Olive was a newcomer, unable to immediately displace Crystal.

Crystal dismissed Olive, considering her an unworthy opponent.

The next morning, Olive arrived at Watson's Medical Class 2. Alicia handed her milk. "Olive, someone delivered breakfast—all thanks to you. We're all famous!"

Olive smiled, "Alicia, we've shared joys and sorrows at Watson." Seeing Olive's unveiled face, Alicia was awestruck. "Olive, you're second on the beauty list, but not above Crystal. You should crush her, but Watson's students are disliked."

Olive, uninterested, pulled Alicia's hand. "Let's study."

Suddenly, Noah appeared, still in yesterday's clothes, smelling of alcohol, haggard and gloomy. He looked directly at Olive, his eyes hard. Alicia shielded Olive. "Noah, what are you doing? I'll call security."

Olive stepped forward. "Young Master White, what's wrong?"

Noah strode toward her, offering dumplings. "These are for you. I kept them close all night; they're still warm. Eat them."
